It looks so fluffy 💜 Yep values are the most important thing with most art (obvs there are a few styles where it's not that important)

I must say you are doing a really good job with your channel. I've used the Mars Lumograph pencils, but I couldn't get them to be smoth with blending. I like that they are so dark, but because of the visuall texture they leave I stopped using them.

Thankyou 😊 Yeah it is a bit grainier, but it also depends on the surface you're using as well (and also how sharp your pencil is) Personally, I don't mind too much because I judge what my work looks like from a meter or two away and I dont notice that texture I tend to prioritise contrast/values over the graininess 😊 But I'm sure it would definitely annoy some people that like to have a smoother result 😊

@@KirstyRebeccaFineArt Yeah, I'm a bit of a nutcase when it comes to smoothness :O) I need my stuff to be superealistic from 5cm away..... You will always annoy someone, no matter what you do - so don't bother :O)

Haha exactly! It took me too long to realise that! I used to spend way too long on artwork and got bored with the fine details until I realised it didn't have to be that way! 😊

It's a Sofft tool (usually used for Pan Pastels) You can get them from many art stores who sell Pan Pastels (depends on your country) But this is the link to the tool from a store in the UK who shop worldwide www.jacksonsart.com/en-au/search/?q=sofft%2Btools&___store=jacksonsart_au&acc=07a96b1f61097ccb54be14d6a47439b0
