What hands are going to check back the river? KT? AK? Maybe. ...and them checking back costs you money. What hands are going to bet for value? full houses, probably some better flushes, and you are paying him off either way. So by checking you mainly let better hands get paid and lose 50% of your value vs most weaker hands. Maybe some random bluffs might bet into the flush? like JQ or 46

I want to say that's a fold. We used to have a guy who did that when he folded... However one night he said it was a call... They went to the cam footage because he said he called but he didn't. He was mad but now we don't play anymore until he says what his action is.

That's nothing in a room that goes by the rules. Cards cross the line to fold or chips cross the line to call. A card protector means nothing other than some shit player is trying to angle.

Including chopped pots is pointless

The talking and tanking is the most tilting thing ever. Anytime Polk and airball are at the table it’s unwatchable.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE WHEN COMMENTATORS KEEP BLABBING WHEN THE PLAYERS ARE SAYING SHIT WAY MORE INTERESTING. Like we know wtf is going on in the hand WE CAN SEE but these guys like to hear their own voice.

I'd hate to have such a huge hand and that guy's voice incessantly yapping away.

Authentic High Stakes games have: -Long Tanks -Lots of needling -Running it twice -Side bets, prop bets and additional games like the “standup game”. -Large amounts loaned amongst players. -Multiple running of board -Bomb Pots Remembering that it’s the players game and not the casinos, dealers or managers game is hard sometimes. As spectators we can only choose what to watch and what not to watch. As for me, I prefer the authenticity but usually fast forward through the long tanks and turn off the sound if people are annoying (ie NikAirball)
