If there is one of thing I am genuinely jealous of British people for...its their ability to insult people. It is an art you brits have utterly mastered and I wish I had such mastery.

There's a good reason why society started giving bad storms a name. It goes back to the 1880s when a British meteorologist started naming Aussie cyclones after politicians who annoyed them... Man, wish we could do that with modern politicians.

Random note, I remember storm Desmond so well, I was 11 (north west England) my house flooded the first floor and we had to “evacuate” bc all the heating and electric was gone and we have pets who require specific temps etc, mental times, thank you for everyone who helped get our village and county back to rights - I also totally forget that cockermouth is a funny name to people bc you get so used to it lol Also I would say it cockermuth but I’m wrong lol, watching these instead of art work

i keep watchin’ Russell over and over - and i’m still laughing my head off. it’s like all of a sudden i keep watching videos about Johnny Depp and can’t stop. in the same way, i find myself doing the same with Russell. i think it’s partly that they’re incredible at what they do, but also they both like and care about others very sincerely in their own ways. that always gets to me. that’s why Russell is my favorite comedian. he’s hilarious and he talks about real situations on his show from the heart. mwah, Russell. :) 🌷🌿🌼🌱🌷
