@@louisquartersson4555 Tell that to big studios who repeatedly keep fucking up launches and patches. There's a lot that goes into making even just small games. And there's literally hundreds of games like this that are terrible. For 2 weeks and for a 13 year old this is very good. If he keeps up his craft and gets serious into game creation one day he's gonna be putting a lot of AAA developers to shame.

That sign was interesting. I’m a diver and those signs are kind of common to be seen at the mouths of underwater caves because cave diving is extremely dangerous if done wrong but since ur underwater they can’t really stop u so the signs are kinda eerie because the person who put it up is genuinely just trying to beg you not to put yourself in danger

That sign before you enter the cave is something in real life. I used to scuba dive and would see them in front of underwater caves often. If you arent properly trained, you will forget which way is up and can easily get lost. It's fitting that Sean almost immediately said "I forgot which way is up!"

This may apply differently at lower depths but like couldn't you fill your lungs with air and see which way you float to figure out which way is up? Ik like in a swimming pool that happens but maybe its different at lower depths where the water pressure is higher. I have never swam in the ocean either I have only ever seen pictures of it.

@@Wings_Of_Avalon Your air tank is not only used for breathing, but is also connected to your suit, which is weighed down usually with lead weights (A diving kit is extremely heavy above the water) One of the gadgets connected to your suit is used to add air from the tank so you can achieve buoyancy once you reach the depth you want. This way you can just coast along without constantly bobbing about with every breath. You could theoretically add air to your suit to "find up", but it's still extremely dangerous as you're confined within a jagged, rocky cave with sensitive equipment and if already that disoriented, you are probably lost. In fact, cave diving requires a special license that is more advanced than a regular scuba license and they typically carry two tanks on their back rather than the usual one.

Funny Jack mentioned himself getting turned around in the first game while swimming around in a cavernous place. That's an actual phenomenon that happens to cave divers that go through underwater caves. Underwater caves are notorious for having "fake exits" that are essentially dead ends on the roof of the caves. You swim down through one entrance and you swim back up, but if you're not careful, you could actually go to one of those false exits. And since it's normally pitch black in those caves, you only have a flashlight to see by. And if you accidentally kick up soot from the cave walls, you end up being stick in a big cloud of dirt, blind as a bat, with no way to go. You can also ascend too fast and get the bendz and you get in delirious state and get disoriented and, in some cases, end up believing you can breathe water so you take your oxygen mask off and die. Suffice to say, I'm not ever going cave diving. Edit: Just FYI, most known, popular cave sites for diving have at least one line leading from the surface to the floor of the cave so you don't get lost or turned around. The people who usually die down there, stray from the path provided. There's typically signs that say something along the lines of "STOP. Prevent your death. Go no further." when you've reached a hazardous area in a cave system. Just do the right thing and you'll stay safe and live to tell the tale.

@@Ouroboros619 It's necessary, the sign has to dissuade a person who already dove this far, they're already underwater, often already inside a (bigger) cave, the ones I saw were in a cenote at junctions to actual narrow cave system, and while we were swimming the wide, "touristy" route we were already underwater and underground. I mean this as affectionately as I can, but people crazy enough to even get to this point are not likely to be stopped by simple "stop" or "do not enter"

In my experience, the best way to check if you are dreaming is to close your mouth, plug your nose, and try to keep breathing. If you can, you are asleep. That's how I usually start a lucid dream. Also, I have a hard time seeing my hands correctly in a dream, but the breathing things is much more conclusive. I'm pretty sure the point of pinching yourself in a dream is to see if it hurts or not. It's not supposed to wake you up or anything.

@RandomFandom8 I'll have to give that one a try if I can remember (it's much harder to remember things like that when you're actually dreaming, lol). I could see it working, but my brain also seems really great at making excuses for visual glitches when I'm dreaming. I think that's why the breathing one works best for me so far, but that might just be a person-to-person thing depending on how your brain works. Lucid dreaming is a super interesting phenomenon, but it's so hard to really investigate it because focusing too hard tends to break me out of it, and even if I balance it just right it can only last for so long.

I find it interesting that Seán's former favorite color was red considering he has mild protanopia meaning that his eyes can't fully perceive red light. This means that what he sees as red is more likely a muddy yellowish color to those who don't have color blindness, although his perception of yellow is distinct in that it is a completely different color than what he sees as red. That's an enigmatic concept to try to wrap my head around. What's even crazier to me is that people who have protanopia would never know they have it unless they are tested for it. That's similar to people with vision problems never knowing they had poor eyesight before vision tests and bifocals/glasses were invented. There were literally Native Americans running around hunting MAMMOTHS which, to them, probably looked something akin to a GIANT ball of fuzzy yarn stampeding around UNLESS they were either far enough away or close enough to it to see aforementioned mammoths clearly. But even then, THEY DIDN'T KNOW that their fuzzy clarity of vision, from either being closer to, or further away from, was not normal. Likewise, others with clear vision had no idea that what they were seeing was perceptively superior from what their colleagues were seeing because there was literally NO WAY for them to even contemplate comparing their vision with one another to find out they differed sight-wise. That seriously hurts my brain to think about. Alright I'm done. Hello everyone! I hope those of you who are optically challenged, like me, are wearing their glasses or contacts so they can enjoy this video with optimal clarity! And if you don't know if you have poor vision or not, I suggest setting up an appointment with an ophthalmologist to find out. It makes me a little sad to think there are possibly people out there living day-to-day without a clue that they could be perceiving the world better.

@@soaphope3398 Actually wrong. If you're put in space you'd have a pretty agonizing death. Your lungs would expand into your chest which would make your lungs literally rip apart. Your blood would boil, your nose and mouth would be freezing, among other horrible things. And this death takes minutes, not seconds. Meanwhile if you're placed at the bottom of the ocean, the water pressure would kill you in LESS than a second. The human brain can't even process it happening when it happens which means you'd have no clue it's about to happen and when it does, you're just dead. But hey, don't operate submarines with a playstation controller and you should be good. Unless you mean a gradual death. Like being slowly submerged or slowly taken up into space. At that point I think it's a stalemate, both are horrible.

At about 41:00 Jack said "What are you doing John?" And I immediately thought "What are you doing step-John?" XD

Having deja vu rn, did you play this before in another 3 Scary Games video? Looked super familiar and remember the creator of it being young as well. Super cool

That last game was extremely well done. Props to the developer who made it feel really eerie and scary. Phenomenal game.

Considering he is 13, perhaps. However, still has a long way to go on the matter of learning what horror really is.

@@CaesarLvcivswhat you mean "what horror really is"? Horror isn’t just one thing. It's a whole lot of things. Just because it may did not do anything for you doesn’t mean it wasn't horror. Like, what.. you watched a lot of older horror movies or whatever and think now because of that you’re some kinda horror expert? Cause you’re definitly not with a take like that.

@@YouMeUngaBunga wdym "with a take like that"? he wasn't wrong, not to discredit the kid but the game simply lacks a lot of what other good horror games have, trying to take aspects from PT, while it lacks a lot in other aspects. most of the scares are from jumpscares, which already are debatable in terms of actually SCARING you, rather than surprising you. there isnt enough atmospheric tension for you to properly be sucked in, and be actually scared of the whole game, rather than just feeling discomfort from the lack of light and the occasional startle from mr naked man running at you. although some parts had lots of potential, they didn't deliver as much. not to mention some of the texts scattered around broke you out of the immersion since they were sort of funny to read. the original reply wasnt wrong, it is impressive considering hes only 13 and probably will only get better from here, but there still is a lot to learn

@@quothh3631 Yes, the game and its horror aspects weren't perfect at all, but my main critique directed at the first reply wasn't that they thaught the game wasn't that good, it was about the point about "learning what horror really is". Just because it doesn’t scare YOU doesn’t mean it's not horror. If the horror element at that moment was effective or not is completely beside the point. It's not about that in my reply. Horror isn’t that one set thing. I have arachnophobia, so spiders would be a good scare element for me, but I'm not scared of small corridors or rooms for example, so I wouldn't get scared by that. But somebody else would. The same for jumpscares, which ARE horror elements. They exist to scare you by surprise. Just because you can overuse/overdo elements doesn’t mean they just like that don't belong to the horror category anymore. People get scared of and fear all kinds of different things, it's not just about what YOU fear/get scared of, because you’re not the only one playing or watching horror content. And "with a take like that" was mostly directed at their "considering he is 13, perhaps", which sounded kinda arrogant. Like, "YeAh, fOr A tHiRtEen yEaR oLd, PERHAPS, bUt NoT fOr a GrOwN uP lIkE mE 🤓". Sounded kinda like unnesessarily(really don't know how that word is correctly spelled rn) downplaying the kids already quite good game making skills. He can still learn a bunch in terms of what horror elements to use and where to effectivly use them, but that is all. Nothing about that "what horror really is" bs. So, yes, from my perspective they were wrong.
