contribution done..lol
1. Zero-sum games and Abundance mindset: Create value instead of being an ill-wisher. 2. Be the dumbest in the room: Gives you the motivation to work harder than others. 3. Deciding b/w Tech and brick-and-mortar: Always choose Tech, ever growing opportunities. 4. Phoenix Analogy: Tech has transition phases, Aaj yaha Kal waha but it would feel new hamesha. 5. Tech is anxiety-inducing: Tech is competitive, but eventually everyone wishes to settle down where ever they feel their comfort zone lies.

Thanks harkirat for the information. I love the blend that you share some life advice in general not just related to packages and tech. This helped to clear my thoughts a lot!
Thank you Harkirat very very much
Hi Kirat, jus saw one of your videos randomly and cant stop watching all of them. Keep sharing the knowledge and please guide us since i am from a very normal academic background and an average student. I am very passionate to be a coder but very confused with things like how to start and where to practice and how to become a pro in this field.

You are excellent bro. The way you analyze the open source code is simply awesome.
Mann such a amazing video!😍 Bigg Respect to you for showing us a bigger picture
Been a software engineer for 6 years. I feel like he is speaking my mind. Same perspective I have & opinions & lessons he said in a video. Very good video.
Man thankyou so much for this. you spoke about everything that goes in that subconscious mind which nobody addresses. It was very helpful.
You are doing a great job ..brother 👍

Things you have said are so true... i am connecting and really liked the phoenix analogy
Thanks for your guidance ❤
harkirat im 2018 btech grad as well, trying to break into tech this gave me some hope ❤
One learns all of this with experience and time. Mental health is really important especially someone who is in either already in tech or someone who is trying to get into tech. I'm currently trying to get into Data Science but still follows harkirat channel to know about open source and other things. Anyone else here wants to get into AI put your comments here. Let me know as well.
Sir i'll encourage u to post more such videos. They spark some light in such hard time.
Full on valuable content best out there in market ❤❤❤
You provide great value man
Pheonix analogy is so apt, I am at 7 year mark and I'm anxious and feel a bit stuck. I think I will re-incarnate with the ideas that I have.

This video is consist of all of my emotions and what i feel in day to day life. Now i feel better that not only me, everyone goes through this phase. Thanks Harkirat for this beautiful content.

Great bro ❤🔥
Great advice 👍
The first lesson I learn from one of the senior about the crab mentality in India, and the lesson about the brick and motor now I am seeing from the perspective of yours and realize that I want to stay in tech even my family and friends have the good local business, earning good sum of money.
after watching this i forgot my pain of trying to get a job in tech, i am still working hard for my passion since last 6 years including my graduation and my 2 years of down phases and thanks to yo sir❤
saw your many videos before but this video made me subscribe to your channel
Best video i have had watched in this era.
I loved the fourth point which is Phoenix Analogy. It is really deep to understand. ❤

Hi harkirat , how would we know which company are open source and hiring as well ? I guess lot of people here have same question can you please help us all😊
Such a great video much needed this. Also you are talking about Arnav Gupta from scaler, I guess😅

Hey Kirat. Thanks for your points. It would be good to add time stamps to the video. Will help us to quickly recollect jusy by watching the time stamps.
Thank you so much sir for this video, I am in college, I really needed this video
Thanks!
You are Master!!
Filmmaking is transforming I see. You made a good choice btw
this guy is amazing.
THanks bhaii..
@harkirat, Hi ! Just recently found out about the channel, the content is amazing. What excited you about the low latency systems?
what do you think for ai taking jobs, now I am not talking about the whole tech, but things like web/app dev will definitely be automated, so should we learn it
No on share such secrets. More power to you sir.
yes bhaiya really helpful video
This phoenix thing is not easy when you got Kids and family, I think it gets harder to unlearn and relearn new tech skills once you are close to 40 year old and with your kids it is very hard to move places like moving to Dubai etc. But one thing you are 100% right that even the dumbest of techies can easily reach 1 lakh per month ultimately which is much better than brick and mortar. I mean, even after not learning anything new i.e. still working on old legacy licensed technologies, for past 6-7 years and still no promotions (intentional as I don't want managerial roles) , so working as a developer - I am gettting 30 lakh per annum !! -- pretty sure this is the easiest money out there !!!! 40 hrs a week || 20 leaves per year || 10 holidays per year || "work from home" --- and doing work which is closest to anything future will hit people "AI" "WEB3" "ALL INTERNET STUFF" -- techies life is always better than brick and mortar !!

😂 good view from this angle but reality is different
always get inspired by you
2:30 Exactly what mindset I have developed over the years from a zero sum mindset, Glad to have been grown the good way much over the years :)
Man you are very much right on this although I am not in the industry yet but the feeling I can relate sometimes. Like I do participate a lot in hackathons but most of the times it feels like fuck he got the prize for such easy project and I was here thinking so deep on the project and didn't get the prize. Well I was able to connect to the thoughts it feels a bit releaved after listening to this video
3:00 This is true in my case , both of my roommates are better than me in studies or coding and i used to feel ki I m worser than both of them , but now i feel that ok it is a good thing to learn and grow
Thank you
Thanks 😊
Can you tell me where u got those eyeglasses from or maybe provide a link to the same. TIA.
Superb dude.
Great, nice info. By the way I like your specials , can you tell me what's that brand and model.
But sir job is like job either it is remote or full time, you will not compare it with business where you get ample time for yourself to explore without having tension of going daily to work , because you know that your money is coming without going daily to work. And also you are your own boss.
Loved it
Thanks Harkirat , you are so not about money , you are not at all about money
Be open minded and positive bro...❤
Thanks for the amazing video. Should I learn ai ml development or full stack web development?
Which mic you use bro?
this is also very useful video bro
@Harkirat Singh i have just joined my college at SRM KTR i have gven my entrance and got rank of 4461 plz advice me what to take in cse i.e cse as a core or with a specialization i am confused my aim is to land a high paying job like you . i have alwasys liked coding i had computer science as optional in 12th where i learned java basically bluej. right now i am confused in AI and ML , cse core and data science . plz help me decide which brach to choose . also wanted to know what is your branch
Hi Harkirat Singh, I often see your videos and those are really helpful. Need your advice on below case'/, My friend don't have any experience and graduates in 2013 and she is looking for IT career. As we don't have opportunities due to no experience, I proposed to learn Salesforce course and try to get opportunity in UpWork app and gain experience. Is this a good idea? If yes, can we put this UpWork experience and apply for Regular😢 Jobs with experience? Any suggestions would greatly help.
In phoenix analogy section what exactly u mean by hustle means for sw developer? In what direction should sw developer hustle in tech field, e.g. in open source?
ਕੰਨ ਕਰ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਮੱਖਣਾ😂....classics bro
great advice !! also one funny thing came in my mind imagine a guy from US wearing a shirt with "Mumbai" or "Noida" written on it 😂😂
