You could argue Big Boss didn't have it that bad because Venom soaked up most of the fire, shrapnel, and literal pieces of Paz.

@@GamesRUs-bj2ut no big boss had it worse, He got shot in the eye and lost his eye to save a lady from getting shot, he survived volgans torture, he survived volgans volts 2-5 million (im not gonna figure the exact volts), he fell from a 70-100 foot bridge to the water plus it dislocated his arm or messed it up, Big boss is literally the most durable snake in metal gear history.

SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING OF MGSV I think mgsv is real, but ground zeroes is part of the hypnotherapy used to trick Venom Snake into thinking he was Big Boss

Heisenberg could only be beaten by his own creation being operated by ethan who is near immortal and Miranda was basically fully immortal and beyond flesh and only died because Rose siphoned her control over the megamycete.
