BigBattery Lithium Battery GEM Car E825 Install

BigBattery FALCN (2 battery kit) was purchased by Deep Cycle Battery San Diego. Step by step installation video of BigBattery Lithium into a 2001 E825 GEM Car. The GEM master disconnect switch was switched to off and old lead acid batteries removed.
Always wear safety glasses and perform work on flat terrain. Never smoke near batteries. The BigBattery 72V kit comes with cables and charger. It does not come with a battery monitor. We did not use the BigBattery busbar but instead use the BlueSea busbars.

Great informational video. Just purchased the 2x Falcon kit for my 2001 GEM E825. Adding new lithium charger, what did you do with the interlock and temp sensor wires the were on existing charger? Also, any issues using existing 72v to 12v converter?

no issues on 72v dc to 12v dc, taped up temp sensor and secured it, not being used
What kind of range you getting with the 2 Falcons? Assuming not really any room for a 3rd Falcon?

Big battery says 15 miles per battery batteries so estimated range has 30 depending on terrain and passenger weight. Only room for two. The weight reduction is noticable when driving
where can I get a lithium replacement for my 2 seat gem? I live in south florida.

Hi, I have a 2000 GEM car E 2 seater. Is the battery pack you purchased a 48 volt or 72 volt pack? Im changing batteries out now as the acid batteries are a pain & so heavy. Would it go on a 48 or does it need the 72 volt? Much appreciated.

The 2000 gem is 72v, gem in video is also 72v if that helps

@@DeepcyclebatterystoreSanDiego Thank you, Im trying to see if I can use one lithium battery pack or is it essential to use two batteries. I keep seeing everyone using 2 to 4 batteries in a 72 Volt golf cart. Thoughts & thank you so much
