He mended my broken heart at the Los of Robert Jordan and finished a series I spent years reading waiting in real-time for each book to drop. I also discovered his other work what a great author

I love how humble Brandon is in general - but specifically about how he handled Mat. He knows he didn't get him right in TGS, and he's so open about it. And of course he improved a lot in ToM and AMoL. And I'm glad he warned Rafe about it.

For sure. He's a good dude, no doubt. It's great that we got someone so open and giving to the fans after so long. I don't think other authors would nearly have cared this much to interact like this years after the fact.

About that bridal wreath I'd say Min's flowers would say that she's sweet, loyal and free spirited, Aviendha's would say that she's dedicated, thorny and mischieveous and Elayne's would say how much she likes taking baths.

At this point I'm hoping for an animated Stormlight Archive TV series and the mistborn trilogies adapted into movies & potentially video games. There's just so much potential that could be done with Sanderson's works.

So much potential. I figure we’ll see all sorts of adaptations in the next two decades.

I'll say this, the fact I've named every custom enchanted sword in an elders scrolls game since 2014 Callandor is my answer to that question lol 😆

I kinda want Brandon to cameo in WoT as an Ogier. Unrelated note, I hope they primarily shoot the Ogier with camera tricks and practical effects like they did mixed scenes with hobbits and humans in LOTR.

Brandon is an absolute legend!

Glad you enjoyed it! It came out to the public about a month ago, and I was surprised no one had summarized it, as there are some really fun stories and nuggets.

And now I'll start wondering while I'm reading his books "Hrm... that random person that just got killed... did Brandon intentionally create that person just so he could play him in an adaptation?"

I guess I never really wanted them to actually get married as besides Min, they all felt so rushed still. I always felt like Elayne especially, but even Aviendha needed to spend more time with him before committing to marriage. So this cut works for me.

I like the ending we got

So Brandon wants to be Sean Bean? And Fortuona is close to the Roman goddess of Fortune. Since Mat famously quotes Caesar with "Time to toss the dice" ( It was actually Let the Dice fly), it's fitting.

@@TheDustyWheel Segade for Aviendha because in Aiel lore that blossom signifies that she will keep her prickly nature in their union. Roses for Elayne because they stand for love and also for Andor and she has pledged both to support Rand. Kingspenny never die back even in the coldest winter and they are the first to revive after a forest fire. Min is signifying that she knows what is coming for them and she will survive it.

I just started reading The Gathering Storm for the 2nd time a couple of days ago, and I love the idea of him being the Sean Bean of the series and dying in every episode, like maybe Fain can feed him to the Tollocs

I'd love to eventually get a full release of Jordan's notes. His few lines for the outrigger novels, what might be written for the shipwreck story, all the discarded bits of "maybe I'll do this" that he didn't settle on.

Brandon would have to rewrite some of TGS to have made it happen, but I can see it, and technically Callandor used together. But I like how it turned out.

@@TheDustyWheel hallelujah! I am disappointed there was no superbowl teaser but that's okay. I want them to have everything 100% ready to give us the very best experience. Everything they've shown us up to date has been amazing and I am so on board.

I don't know what branches these wenches would've used for their wreaths, but I kinda wished we had that sequence somewhere.....Idk exactly when or where, but that would've been seriously cool.

I thought that Callandor would turn put to be a needle, not a sword.

I rather like the idea of bridal wreath making juxtaposed with Myrddraal slaughter... but that could just be a Maiden thing 😂

Callandor > Choedan Kal for the ending. We already had tons of hunting for things in the previous books. It was time to wrap up things.

They should have just animated it instead of making it live action. You can do so much more. Fans would love it. If it gets really good please dont pull a GoT and fumble the ending.

Jim is James Rigney or as most fans know his name, Robert Jordan. RAFO is Read and Find Out, something Jordan would tell fans at book signings.

Where is the "Big News"? Frankly I'm getting tired of this Amazon WOT series stuff being dragged out. Little tidbits of nothing news. It now seems everyone's trying to make money off of it before it comes out, because they know it's going to flop like The Shannara Chronicles abomination. I hope I'm wrong. Come on Amazon, give us a trailer and some dates.

I'd love a trailer and release dates, and that will be the biggest of TV Show news. But anything we get about Wheel of Time, such as knowing there is one more unreleased scene that Brandon wrote, that Jordan was considering an alternate ending, and as for the show, knowing Brandon has only read 6 of the 8 scripts, is altogether big in light of what we get now. But surely, bring on the Trailer! Though, I can't imagine this will be anything like The Shannara MTV Chronicles.

They ruined the tv show and I hope a season 2 does not come!
