Big Water Duck Hunting | We've NEVER Shot THESE BEFORE!

Спорт

It's our second day of hunting diver ducks on big water in Minnesota. The birds put on another show in the fog, and we got to cross a new species of waterfowl off the list...
What an awesome duck hunting trip!

Liked everything about this video. Seeing the ducks come in to the decoys from those angles was really cool. Subscribed!

Are they from Alaska? They’re much cooler than I expected them to be. Bigger too. - Bret

@@Brian-dh9lp Such a cool place. We made it there for the first time in December. Shot surfs and black scoters there too. No white wings, though. Had to do that in Minnesota haha!

Thanks for the reply. Is that a steel shot? Do you have to lead much? Those kills were incredible. What’s a typical cross flight lead for you at 30 yards? My shot tends to cripple and it’s frustrating. I would like clean kills. I heard that gun is awesome. I have a Benelli and it has jammed on me and it doesn’t really drop the birds well That hunt is really unique. Never saw that. What happens if you accidentally fall in! The water must be freezing!

It’s really unique. Every duck hunter should try it. Cripples can be frustrating. You normally have to lead more than you’d expect. The shells are copper-plated Bismuth.

@@fishhuntforever Do you ever lead over two or three feet? I heard bismuth is more for closer decoy range because it fractures? Does the copper coat extend the range? What would be your longest range shot? I’d appreciate any feedback. I really want to be ethical when I hunt waterfowl. Shooting goldeneyes is impressive. They are fast flyers. I’m
