Good day . Back in the late 70's they had him on our local rock and roll radio station . This was before FM was used. We'd listen to him at lunch time at work. One day he told about a women from here who's very young son called for an ambulance for his mother . This was also long before 911. They showed up and took her to the hospital where she found out she was having a bay that she didn't know she was pregnant for. It was pretty cool hearing the small city here being named on his show .

Local DJ Ron Chapman took over the Paul Harvey broadcast , Ron has passed also both these men had a way with a story that grabbed you from the beginning til the end and Now for The Rest of the Story!!!

Those of us who watch you regularly know you care about your work. You are very precise and exacting in everything you do. That's one of the things I like about your channel. One of them!

What I’ve found is the people who are the most miserable in their lives are the ones who make the biggest stink of all the different media platforms. They will sit at their keyboard and berate you or anyone else, for what they perceive as being done wrong, yet they won’t ever look into a mirror to see that their own lives are out of wack.

I'm like you Nathan. I can't stand it having firewood too short so that you can get warm twice by having to go get more. Don't worry about those Facebook trolls.

I got an idea.....Get a Joe Maine Silver beak for each chicken and have them split those bigger rocks.....Yeah, I know, brilliant! Love the Paul Harvey inserts......Thanks for the video and all the supporting cast (Excavator, Side by Side, Dump trailer, Husqvarna Chain saw, skid steer, chickens, Horses, goat and not sure Momma Cat was there).

ALL your videos are relevant Nathan! I live in an suburban community where all the farmland is being sold for housing developments and commercial sites. We arrived here 33 years ago through the Marine Corps and it was all farmland and it all disappeared! Sad! I guess the farmers children didn't have the guts for hard work. The area now is overcrowded, and we're too settled to move. Keep up the great videos Nathan!

Nathan, it would be good for you and Mike Morgan to work together. You could teach Mike a lot about the sawmill and kiln drying lumber, and Mike could teach you a lot about operating your equipment. He is very good with his excavator and skid steer. The both of you would gain a lot of knowledge from each other. It would be great, my friend! Have a great day!

Nathan, It's refreshing to hear Paul Harvey's voice and wisdom interjected in your monologue about all the work you do to improve your business and property. The American Dream is accomplished by those who work hard and ethically; making this nation a better place....For you, that is one farm and sawmill at a time. "I think it looks pretty good.... That might be overkill for a culvert in an old farm pasture...But, I think it looks nice and when someone drives over it I think they'll know the person who did it cares about their work." YESSIR!

+ Absolutely! I have a SMALL "fireplace insert"...a wood burning stove, with doors and a fan, that sits inside my fireplace. It can heat most of my house. But the biggest log that will fit in it is only 15 inches. I stopped letting tree service people cut logs for me because they always cut them at 18", and I ended up having to trim them just to get them in my fireplace. Now I cut my own logs and there's a lot less wasted wood and time.

I always look forward to your videos Nathan! I've learned so much about wood from you and even though I don't have a saw mill I do have an Etsy shop. What I've learned about wood from you has made me a better woodworker. Thank you! PS I think the Pajama people are talikg over Lancaster, PA!!

Man, some people are ust born and raised to complain and comment-bully someone - ignore them: they are simply jealous of what they cannot do/have. And my compliments of the initial log splitting with your friend and his son (?) gathering the split pieces. Always said you have the best B roll on KZread, but that three shot with that incredible sky in the background - applause, applause.

I used to listen to Paul Harvey every day at work during lunch break.

I sure could have used Mr. Kato the other day. I had to dig up my roof drain culvert under my driveway. By hand. Pick and shovel the old fashioned way. Got it done.

I could watch you painting a wall Nathan and i would think it was worth watching. You’re always entertaining and and hardworking. Keep up your fine work mate. 👍🏼

Watching your videos of day to day operations on your farm bring back a lot of memories for me. My grandpa was a farmer and I planned on joining him when I got out of the Navy. Because of circumstances beyond his control, he had to sell his operation just prior to me getting out so I never got the chance to join him. That was over 40 yrs ago and he’s gone now, but I really enjoy this as much as the saw milling videos. Thanks Nathan. Nothing but go thoughts for you and your family. Stay safe.

Looks like a great time saving tool. good for you. Sometimes haters are stupid sometimes hilariously stupid.

You should see the fire wood attachment for a front end loader on Diesel Creek. Picks up the log, positions it for the cut and splits the cut section. Pretty neat.

10:20 Nathan, many people (most?) feel a great need to make themselves appear to be more knowledgeable, more capable, and much more important than they are. The best way they can accomplish this (they think) is to attempt to put down others. Just ignore them. You know what's best for you much more than any of us.

Put some of that big rock in the mud where the water comes out of the culvert to prevent erosion!

You might consider setting the tongue of the little tilt bed trailer on an up ended cement block. Doing so will reduce your bending and lifting, as well as allowing you to back directly to the trailer coupler.

Fully appreciate the time you spend on the edit work.

Great Video, Made a measure tool for cutting firewood years ago, it sprouted legs and left, so I just marked different lengths on the bar works just as good but I like the one you have its a good tool to have. Hope you enjoy your chipper I love mine gets the job done! Thanks for the great music, I like the banjo, special tones special meanings to me. Paul Harvey yeah buddy! He was a great guy. The older chickens will likely attack the younger ones but it should not be too bad and it will not take very long for them to be friends. I have not yet seen chickens get along right away when introduced.

I wouldn’t worry about haters using your firewood markers, I use a magnet mount and a mingo pain marker for 16” it’s always something and yea I’m sure it took more time to set up the cameras up than it did to get those stumps out, good content.. keep it up...Tim

The little things that trigger people will never cease to amaze me. Maybe you should use the marking gauge to saw up a red cedar log just to see if you can set a new record for comments.

Thanks Nathan. I grew up in that part of the country and noticed something interesting about your videos. You never seem to have trouble with wasps, hornets or yellow jackets. I always seemed to run into them, usually when least expected.

Hi Nathan, I was thinking that you might want to put a bit of that riprap down around the bottom of the conduit to slow the outflow and inflow to decrease erosion. I’ve seen others do this. Just love watching all you do!
