These units also provide additional power for locations with limited power. My garage and pole barn each have a single 110V, 20A circuit. I can run my CNC on that, but there’s not enough power left to run anything else, particularly dust collection. I can run dust collection from my wall outlet and use the F3800 to run my CNC for about 12 hours when it’s fully charged. I can also use my bandsaw, table saw, etc. from the F3800 while the CNC is doing its thing.

Nathan, started watching you for the interesting woods and techniques you use on your mill. It's your choice to upload whatever content you choose, but it's also my choice to watch or not. What happened to the black smithing you were working into? I was here for the sawing, not the everything except sawing. Stay safe.

Sure wish I had that unit installed last night, we lost power for 9 1/2 hours. It's happening a lot with the ground being soaked and the wind whipping up and toppling the trees and taking out powerlines pretty often. Got to get my generator hooked up and running again so we won't loose food and can't call or contact anyone. Thanks for sharing and thanks to Anker for having such a good unit for power outages. Fred.

I watched your video and went to the website to check out their products. I came back here to comment in hopes that you might pass this feedback on to Anker as they have don't have any links on the website to contact them. That right there is a red flag to me. They are also not up front on their pricing, the only way to find out the price is to hit the "buy now" link. They may have the best products on the planet, however if I as a potential customer cannot reach out to them and they don't want to tell me the prices on the page of the product, it makes me say "well I will just go to another company that is not AFRAID to show their pricing or AFRAID to have people contact them. Feel free to delete this comment if you choose.

Since we live in Rochester (NY), we have a gas line for our backup Generac generator that's connected to a transfer box. Of course, after the generator was installed, I didn't as good of an explanation about the box as you gave here. Thanks for that. By the way, I lived off the grid for years on solar panels and that Anker unit looks like the ticket. That option didn't exist back when I lived under the redwoods and the Douglas fir on the North Coast of California. The Anker website is offering $1000 off. Be well.

I love your videos but I do not have 3 to 8 thousand dollars to buy the Anker products. I know they are sponsoring the video but this is a commercial. The truth be told I would love to help you make videos by a donation if I could but I don't have the extra cash to be a member and add another monthly expense. My family was without power for 11 days and we used a $400 generator for lights and to power the fan on the HVAC unit, fireplace and candles in the bathrooms for heat, and our propane grill to cook on along with supplemental heat while cooking. Oh but the CO2. Nope I used my meter and the out put was less than the fireplace. We were in a full electric "green fuel" house at the time, all electric. I will never be that way again. Oh did I mention that this was in the middle of January and the temperature did not get above 18 degrees the entire time with full cloud coverage. This system would never handle that type of situation. Get a natural gas or propane generator. If you want to go off grid plan on spending a lot more for total solar. What you have is a very expensive CONVENIENCE item to charge a few things and run small tools.

Although most of the scenarios (bar zombie apocalypse) are unlikely way national grids and water supplies the world over have been allowed to degrade it is possible that areas, especially rural could be left without power for long enough periods to warrant the worry about criminals. You may not be able to rely on police if the powers out too long.
