Big Tech's Antitrust Hearing: The most important questions

Ғылым және технология

The CEOs of Apple, Google, Facebook, and Amazon testified before congress this week as part of an ongoing investigation into these companies. Some US lawmakers, along with legislators in Europe, are becoming increasingly concerned these companies have violated antitrust laws and are exercising monopoly power to crush smaller competitors.
The hearing was 5 hours long, and see-sawed back and forth between questions about supposed anti-conservative bias in social media, and questions that actually had to do with the market power of these companies, along with one representative asking Sundar Pichai for technical support with his email.
With all that, here are a few of the questions that we thought were the most important to the issues at hand.

@@zzzaaalll facebook definitely has NOT been thinking anout how to buy google. Google is much MUCH larger than facebook, and i dont think many people comprehend that. ABC Company is incredibly well backed and Google’s Search engine AI that is used for google and youtube is almost a decade ahead than the next closest competitor (Bing got in trouvle for literally using google’s ai, copying search results exactly). Bottomline is, Google’s revenue and company size is significantly larger than facebook. If anything Google has probably inquired if they could buy facebook.

Let me break your bubble. You HAVE facebook, even without knowing it. Facebook builds shadow profiles for people who aren't logged in. Everytime somebody writes your name in a post, everytime somebody puts a photo on facebook with your face in it, everytime friends come over and connect to facebook over your wi-fi.... it takes that image of you and connects it to your name, your location & other various information. Then it uses it to identify you in a sea of anonymous information, further building your shadow profile. Google, Amazon, Apple, Twitter etc. They all do the same thing. They employ algorithms that can identify you based on only 5-6 key data points in an anonymous database, such as what you buy and at what time, what websites you visit, what you type & how fast you type etc. There is no privacy at this moment.

It is very very messed up and all the big companies do that - Apple, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter and others are all the same it’s a big monopoly and they need to be broken up.

I mean if EVERYBODY should know the answer , (that being it's standard practice based upon your type of criticism) and that the person asking the question is ignorant somehow or duh er uh uh duh. You know if everybody knows , then their answers should be straightforward and easy. The question was asked because they knew already that they wouldn't be truthful in their answers this having it on record when it all plays out . They are a tool of suppression and manipulation, censoring data that conflicts with their goals and views and shutting down people they have power over, like here on KZread. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians:6:12 King James Version The people in power are Satanists. When you question "is this all a big conspiracy, or are they incompetent?" They take their marching orders from Satan, all these steps towards a totalitarian state and one world government are intentional. Watch the documentary films "After the Tribulation" and "Babylon USA" for more information on this subject, available free on KZread by Framing the World. Check my channel for a clear Gospel presentation reuploaded from a trustworthy pastor. You can be 100% certain you're going to heaven when you die because salvation is the free gift of God, we absolutely cannot earn it with our "good" works. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13 King James Version

THE ENTITIES ARE NOT ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS ANYWAY.....WHEN IN A COURT OF LAW, IN A HEARING....IF THE WITNESS DOES NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION WITH A SIMPLE YES OR NO....IT BECOMES APPARENT TO THE QUESTIONER THAT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ANSWER THE QUESTION BUT CIRCLE BACK TO THEIR PRE-CHOSEN NONSENSE TO AVOID ANSWERING.

because they fail to answer a yes or no answer with "yes" or "no," and they cut them off with a "oh so you did" and if they did they would stay quiet, if they didn't they would respond with "no we did not." its a really smart move.

Members of Congress have limited time to ask questions, and to get answers. Those millionaires know this. Yet they always, no matter what, give ridiculously long, never ending responses, forcing the member of congress to cut them off. _ _ This serves 2 purposes: (1) they get away with not answering the question, and (2) they want sympathy since they "weren't given enough time to answer".

Many of these companies/services will probably be replaced with public distributed protocols in the future. Because the reason they become successful is the size of the network, but then they are competing in the marketplaces that they referee, which doesn't work out in the end. There is a massive amount of research in distributed, peer-to-peer, content-oriented, smart contracts, etc., etc. that is maturing rapidly and eventually people will realize that they can and should be deployed to resolve some of these issues.
