Cali. I had not seen this video until this Posting. I'm sorry it has escaped me (and others as well)until now. At the time,, I had copied most of the Stuff from 167's adventures with his Princess but not what's here. It's a P & P Video. The Perfect Video of the Young life of condor Iniko(almost tragically snuffed short so early)and the Perfect accompanying Music to go with it--dramatically enhancing the many intense video aspects seen throughout the Video.The final minute or so is Riveting in intensity--and you found just the right music moment to dramatically bring it out.On reflection, i remember most of the individual moments here, but it's the Musical enhancement that adds so much to what is mostly remembered here. Thank You for adding Special moments of Remembrance for myself and undoubtedly for others as well.

Happy day! So happy for Mom & Dad! Especially for Redwood Queen. She went through so much, so bravely. She deserves this new life so much. Thank you, Cali Condor for the wonderful news!

Oh, this is such wonderful news. After the loss of so many, a new chick brings renewed hope for survival of this iconic and precious species. Ventana Wildlife Society and the condor crew must be ecstatic!❤

Happy to catch a glimpse of new hatch(3day old) for RQ &(new dad) Zenith. New Dads' of various bird species more than infrequently make mistakes, sometimes catastrophic in nature. Zenith is a new Dad , but @ 12 yrs old, not likely he will make any of those of 'New Dad' variety. Condor Parents have an extra Gene in their makeup for 'Extra Affection bestowed on a Parent' by Nature. Also, Condors are not Warrior birds like Hawks and Eagles so they don't naturally seek to destroy something they don't understand or have not seen before. Hope to follow 650 on his quest for stability (as a Dad & faithful mate) and given RQ is on the Job(1 mo. short of 26 yrs) he will have plenty of Guidance, Love, and Experience to guide him along. Disappointed that VWS does have a functioning Crystal Ball to guide them to the exact spot in Big Sur this Pair would chose as their nest. I would not have chosen it either , given the past history here. Thanks for Posting Cali.

Thanks so much! Happy to see redwood Queen is ok and congratulations on her chick and new mate. I remember Iniko and remember that his dad, kingpin died in the fire 😢. Any idea where Iniko is? ❤

Iniko is seen on the Big Sur Cam often. In fact, she was spotted today! 😊
