Its definitely something that we are going to try to do more of with everything going on in the world right now. We are looking for some hikes that have a bit more to offer like a waterfall or mountain peak for our next one. You definitely should get out and do it again also. Thanks for the love!!!

I hate hiking when bugs are bad. Bees and spiders are not my thing! Used to hike quite a bit before I got lazy LOL. Did you have to deal with the sand getting in your shoes? The rapids are super cool, though. Irish ice cream pub? That's different lol. I would have had to go in and see what that was all about lol. I'm really enjoying watching your channel. You guys are great!

We actually have some plans to do some camping and hiking in Georgia in October. Hopefully the weather is on our side at that part of the year 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

Wekiwa Spring has over 13 miles of trails. Deep Hole to see alligator in Myakka State Park walking into an expansive prairie. Needed a permit and you needed to be there early am. If you are in for hiking, I know many places near and far from Orlando.

Thanks for the tips! I have been kayaking in Wekiwa Springs but never knew about the trails. I will definitely check that out!!! I have been to Myakka because used to live in the Bradenton area so w are familiar with that park. I am always looking for hiking trails in the Orlando area. Thank you!!!

You guys are so brave those rapids look intense. Ugh bugs!! Please let me know if you find a repellent that you like!

No repellent kept them away lol super bugs!

Suwannee river is very hard to beat for a FL river especially, and I've been to and on quite a few quality renowned ones. One moment I'll never forget, balancing on the big downed tree over the swift flooded Swannee river nearby at Suwannee river state park-- almost instantly regretted lol, but did have some peace of mind putting myself in the mercy of the ancient moody river, and my balance of course. Next time I just plan on chillaxin' and trying to catch some catfish dinner there. Good times, those rapids are something else, I'll have to check that out-- are the biggest FL has to offer (FL is famous for very lazy meandering rivers, tourist traps, & beaches xD). Life long Floridian and plan on livin' here all my life if I can. Good vid Btw Suwannee river state park, yeah best hiking I've done so far, including the lime sink trail (before being swarmed by quarter-sized 'skeeters at least). Tho I'm not huge on hiking overall, nor fishin' but being well rounded, tho maybe ocassional kayakin' overall is my fav, (also snorkeling and freshwater fossil hunting I highly recommend for FL outdoorsy fun) Ocala seems to have some grand FL hiking- highish chances of seeing elusive FL black bears too And if you're ever in the lower Suwannee near Fanning Springs, definitely hit up Chompers for food. Their fresh flavorful shrimp swamp tacos and fried catfish was one of the best meals I've ever had, hands down

I have to apologies because after reading this to only thing that stuck out for me is "highish chances of seeing elusive FL black bears" 😱😱😱😱I want to avoid ALL BEARS at ALL COST 😂😂😂. I do appreciate the tips on other other trails lime sink seems cool after looking it up! We enjoy kayaking also but have to be in our own kayaks or else we end up in the water somehow 😂Also, Chompers sounders interesting. We will have to check that out some time!!
