Y’all got the tools and the talent to back it. I am amazed at the team work y’all exhibit. Very in tune group.
A very long time ago, before this became airport property, there were residences there. I had a paper route that delivered there.
What an absolutely fine crew, My Hats off to each and every one of You.
That’s a slick skiddy attachment. I never seen one of those before.
I must admit I was a little drunk when I discovered this channel... I thought it said “guilty of threesome” I clicked on it and I wasn’t disappointed

Sad to see such great trees that are in good health just cut down when what we need is more trees😢. Not saying anything against you, you’re just doing your job and doing it well. 👍🏻
Winch to the grapple looks pretty slick for that work
Awesome video... the entire crew works together like clock-work! Keep up the videos... by far the best Tree Cutting- Chainsaw videos on KZread!
Nice work Jacob!! I liked how you stuck your axe above your back cut and had your wedge placed there ready to use. You need to make sone more videos

Traffic has been phenomenal during the stay at home order! What usually takes me 45 minutes to commute is now taking me 25-30 minutes. I just stumbled upon this channel, I had to subscribe, I've got to support my fellow PNW KZreadrs! You have some good content on the channel!
Good video and great. Team work!

You, sir, are a ninja with that chainsaw. It's very fun to watch.
That kubota and chipper combo is awesome!
Ty for the tickling tip. Opposite of thank you for that picture LOL!
Solid crew you guys have !
I love your videos
You clearly know your shit. Fun to watch, great editing. Hope you continue making videos after the virus is done. Subscribed!
tickling the hinge can be abit dangerous. try letterbox where u bore through the front to leave the ends of the hinge. u take out like 80% of the holding wood if u have to and still keep the working hinge
@Scofari

Wouldn't this have to be done before the back cut though?
@happycamper6352
2 жыл бұрын
@@Scofari Not necessarily, but if you're doing this as "tickling" you still have to be quick to pull out, and it saves the outer ends of the hinge that does the most to control the direction of fall.
Thats so freaky what you found in that book!

It seems strange to watch Brian running a chainsaw:)
What pants do u cut in
Are you able to sell those chips?
Pittsburgher here, not that anyone wants this, but I may be able to shed some light on that creepy picture: Every summer at the David Lawrence convention center downtown there is a giant event called 'Anthrocon' where people dress up like animals (Furries) and have a giant 'party' of sorts. That photo looks like it could definately be from the event. I guess people come from all over for this, they basically overrun our streets and hotels for a week :-/
You guys work on the Eastside? I bartended at Tiki Joe's in Kirkland for years. Now, I'm a tree guy in Oregon. Love your guy's channel!
Do you guy's grind stump's too ??
Better known as Boeing Field
Just curious, why do you look into the wedge cut?
@mitchjones2821
3 жыл бұрын
Can’t believe no one replied. Checking if the cut is complete. No “dutchmen” that broke from the wedge itself. They can cause the tree to not fall exactly as you plan. Also checking for an over cut, meaning the two cuts didn’t meet perfectly.
Every episode I have seen you leave a stump ,is there another crew behind you or do you just leave the stump ?
Is that uniform bartletts?

Greetings from Russia. How much do arborists get in America?
@kennetharmas4879
4 жыл бұрын
Depends what you're doing...if it's for a company or on your own. In the Pacific northwest region of America, you make decent money as am arborist. Generally $20-$25/hr is a starting wage and it goes up from there with your knowledge and experience. A climbing arborist generally starting wage is around $32-35/hr but that's for a big company. In my experience some small companies pay better, some don't it can vary wildly.

In what world is 32 an hour starting wage not a good wage? LMAO that's almost 400 a day with 2 hours overtime and you're ALWAYS getting OT in tree work. I'm glad you're getting paid 23 to not work, luckily I'm getting paid to work and do something I love doing. Not everyone can do tree work its definitely not the job for everyone
I am totally encouraged by your massive mask mandate protest. Excellent in the extreme!!!

Seems like a shame to chip both the branches and logs. Surely someone could take that for firewood. You could probably even sell it, couldn't you?
@Hsnyd
4 жыл бұрын
Probably too much of a hassle for the company, you could possibly even sell the chips to companies that specialize in producing firestarters anyways.
