Nobody went out of their way to erect a whole ass statue of him. It was just leftover from the film. But every NHL/NFL/NBA/MLB game here they play the scene on the big screen to fire up the crowd: **Adrien was against him fighting Apollo since he could go blind with one bad punch. She was pregnant and refused to support it and had anxiety over it. Shes sick and faints. They deliver the baby but she almost dies & slips into a coma. Rocky is unwilling to meet the baby alone or leave her side. Won’t train. Blames himself. Then She wakes up! A miracle! He’s so relieved he’s in tears. They finally meet their son Rocky Jr. Then she says, “ Rocky I need u to do one thing for me.” He leans in closer to her. She whispers, “Win”. Dumbass caveman Rocky looks up confused almost, “Uuuhh….wut?” . Now louder with conviction she says, “WIN ROCKY!…. WIN!!!!” Cut to old ass Mickey who’s been annoyed af they haven’t trained. He’s standing in the doorway and yells in his old school accent, “Well WHAT THE HELL WE WAITIN FOR?!?!” Cue the bells. Cue the trumpets. Cue the jogging sequence thru the city to Gonna Fly Now ending at the top of the steps. Cut right into a badass training sequence to Eye of the Tiger. Cue fight night. Creed v. Balboa rematch….*** Unless you’re dead inside you are ready to go to war after that! Quite possibly the greatest consecutive 45minutes in film history!

Love this! Also aside from the Kelce’s there’s just a ton of Kansas City/Philly connections too. Similar passionate fanbase. There’s a bar in KC dedicated to Philly transplants and philly sports. And a KC bar here in philly. Royals recently won the series. Phil’s recently won the series. But both cities, at the end of the day- are football towns thru & thru! Obviously the Andy Reid link. Takes over struggling team. Drafts a QB and molds into a franchise player. That man has been thru it. Perennial contender. Gets So close but Never getting the SB. Then him and Tammy bury their son Garrett to drugs. Gutwrenching. Heart sinks for them. And still struggling with Brit. To see his success in KC is very satisfying. Big Red is a HOF coach at this point. (Nickname for his hair. Not KC colors lol) And I gave him so much shit when he was here too. (But mainly directed at MCNABB).

The realness of Travis screaming f*ck when Jason brought up the loss is dope to see. The frustration in how serious he sees the dropped passes shows more passion than his celebrations.

Love the show from the UK! Already a part of my weekly routine. Hardcore Eagles fan since I found the sport in 2009 and a huge fan of you both. Keep it up.

You shoulda flown over for that parade! Was out of a storybook man. Million people sharing sheer joy. I tried meeting up with my brothers but was just impossible. Cell service was jacked up from the volume. Me and my dad went together. Parked on two street. Walked over to broad. Found some friends. Hugs. Beers. Shots. Tears. Waited a lifetime for it. Sounds corny since it’s just sports but everyone was emotional. It’s more than sports. It’s family. It’s tradition. It’s Pride. All that Toasted to my grandfather who had season tickets way back in the 60’s at Franklin Field. We had em at the vet in the 90’s thru Any Reid’s entire tenure. We bleed green. I’ll never forget that day.

As the 4th of 6 boys, I can attest to locking the door when you feared for your life from an enraged/unhinged older brother. But a 90s bathroom door is no match for a wire hanger and a brother’s rage. One broken plunger, 2 minutes unconscious, and a quick hit of smelling salts (my mom was a nurse and kept them in the house) I’m still alive and that specific brother is my favorite!

This is the best thing to happen in 2022!! You guys are smart, smooth and smashingly funny without trying too hard. LOVE the football details and inside stories. Wednesday’s are no longer hump day, it’s Kelce Katchup Day!! (And everyday is Chiefs day)

Travis’ German accent is so damn funny. I love this cast!

Love the show, new fan. Glad to see you discuss concussion protocol- and very happy to hear how serious it is taken now, even if players feel it can drag out a bit. My wonderful pops played oline RG for Bears in late 60s (#60 Kriewald) and has cte dementia now. He had games where he didn’t remember playing second half and asked teammates in locker room if they won. I love my dad and miss having him fully engaged in life and family nowadays. Stay safe Kelce brothers and make room for healing and precaution when needed. Now is but a small period in time and your kids and grandkids would love to have all of “you” still around to guide them in the future.

It’s funny, Jason resting listening face is so still and you can tell he’s concentrating 110% and learning. This was the first episode I seen Travis with that same concentrating face, and it was when Jason was talking about the team coming closer together when things are down. Yeah, as an Eagles fan, I have no issues with KC. I love Mahomes, Andy Reid, and Travis Kelce... all amazing players/coach. Best of luck in the AFC race. As for Philly, onto Jacksonville!
