Спорт

On episode five of ‘New Heights’, Travis walks us through what went into the Chiefs’ bounce-back win against Tom Brady and the Bucs and who is on his all-time tight end, Mt Rushmore. Jason reveals how the Eagles managed to stay undefeated in a rainy game against the Jags and what happened in his reunion with Doug Pederson. We also figure out if the media is going too far in criticizing Baker Mayfield and try and explain what goes into a modern NFL offense. Finally, Paul Rudd makes a surprise appearance to wish Travis a happy birthday and share memories of Super Bowl LIV.

Josh, sorry for your loss. My father passed the day after Christmas that year on the day after they beat the Raiders to clinch home field. Part of our last discussion that Christmas evening was whether or not Foles could take the team deep into the playoffs. Little did we know just how magical that run would turn out. 😇Even though he wasn't there to watch the games with me I definitely felt his presence and hope you felt the same with your brother.

Damn man I’m sorry to hear that, growing up a pats fan my dad was a Bucs and he passed away in 2019 the same year Tom had people saying his career was over and the patriots needed to move on. I prayed for the Bucs to somehow win a superbowl in the next few years to make up for all the heartbreaking seasons my dad watched, Tom ended up answering that prayer in March of 2020. God bless football 🙏❤️

Travis, my father recently passed and he was the reason I even became a chiefs fan at a young age. We had planned to make it to the home opener of this years season but unfortunately he passed in March of this year. I still made it to the game with my wife but also bought his seat anyways as an honor of him making it to one last game. It was incredible performance you put on that nice against the chargers and what you’ve put up this season. You were his favorite player on the entire team and he would have loved to have seen what you’ve done this season. Keep up the great work and have a baller season man! Much love from Chiefs kingdom

" Adversity makes us stronger," damn skippy. Sometimes being humbled helps to clarify a current situation and what needs to change to make it better. Owning it, and taking responsibility for it is a credit to you both as men, but also a credit to your parents. Gaining more and more appreciation for you both and relating life lessons that can be gained from sports in general.

Never thought that i would find myself listening to a sports podcast. Don’t get me wrong, i live in Kansas City and i love the Chiefs, but i stumbled across this podcast and was surprised how much i enjoyed it! Love the brother dynamic! Also, as a small business owner here in KC, i think i can speak for the entire small biz community and say thank you to Travis and the Chiefs. You have no idea how many businesses have been able to grow thanks to your success. From t-shirts to jewelry makers like myself, you have had such a positive impact on so many of our businesses, so thank you for that!

This right here. To show that you grow in self awareness, stepping away from excuses and going for accountability. And getting that you are priviliged to have the opportunity you have. So refreshing to hear instead of the more entitled sort of narcissitsic fall back to blame pretty much anything and everything outside of yourself. And boy, just look at how important it is to have a version of Jason Kelce in your corner when it can go down real fast. A blessing and something to thank life for. I hope Jason gets that how he stepped up and supported is not something everyone does. And that is something he both should be proud of and get credit for. And just watching Travis face here, you just get that he is not unaware that he owes his big bro alot to help him through a period where it could have turned out differently without that support. I love to see it.

Can we talk about the fact hearing from an O-lineman is incredible? JK is a beast. Watch the Eagles v Jaguars game again and watch him dominate. Every snap is a different technique for the type of rush. Idk if it was a bull rush but on one ay he literally throws his legs back full tilt and holds the defender in place. He runs to the second level every play and follows the pass rusher around the side when they swim. He is incredibly powerful with legs that'd make Earl Campbell smile. This has opened my eyes to a whole new world of football. I'm not shy about it but I never really paid too much attention to the trenches in my life unless there was a penalty. But now seeing what great leverage and dominance looks like I have a whole new appreciation for the trenches on offense. Oh and this podcast is pretty cool I guess 😀

I think the show is so popular because it’s an unfiltered look into what it’s like to be a hall of fame caliber NFL player. Almost all other sports podcasts are either speculation about an upcoming game or critique of a game just played, by former players or folks who never played. It’s so refreshing 🍻 Travis absolutely diced-up 🔪 one of the best linebacking groups. His footwork is art 🖼 Mahomes throw to his backside while falling protected Travis - what a throw and what a catch. Kelce always finds the open space & tries to help his Mahomie. We’re witnessing Hall of Fame history 🏉 “Shake his hand!” 😂 Paul Rudd rules. I love that super bowl story 🩸. Lifelong KC fan as well. I 😭 when the Chiefs won, lol. That entire playoff run was magical 🪄 🎩 🐇. Happy Birthday Travis 🎁 🎂

Love the podcast! It’s great to get an inside look at what happened in the games! I’m also learning a lot of things about the game as well! Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRAVIS! I totally get not really being as hyped about your own birthday ❤😅

Me and my Lions friend were at the Snow Bowl and holy crap what an experience. The only way we could stay warm was to get hammered and if Jason says he couldn't see anything from the field, you can imagine what it was like for us in the stands. Nearly apocalyptic white out conditions but god damn if it wasn't one of the best memories of my life.

You two remind me of my boys. They're 43 and 38. Great kids. Paul Rudd is right -the first person you think of is those who passed. My mom and dad died in June and Aug. 2019. They watched every game with us. ❤️🏈💛 They would have LOVED the Superbowl win! Question: how are you guys not covered in bruises all the time? I get a bruise walking to my bathroom at night. 😶

Totally agree about the disliking being sung “happy birthday” I’ll smile and be appreciative, but man I could go without 😂 especially if you’re in public and someone gets the staff of the restaurant to sing to you, that is the absolute worst lol😂

Hey Jason and Travis! I'm Kim - 3rd generation Eagles fan. I gotta say my 30th birthday was great because THE EAGLES WON THE SUPERBOWL THE NEXT DAY! Best birthday present for me ever! I love listening to y'all because you talk about football in a way that I can understand without making me feel dumb about it. Plus y'all have that brotherly banter that is just funny af.

Huge Chiefs Fan and now an Eagles fan as well! This is the most fun pod cast to watch/listen to. Love the insight on football from the players and not just the media take on the game. Love it!! Keep it up Bro's!--Happy Birthday Trav!

I absolutely love this podcast. I feel like I've won the jackpot. On the one hand, as a die hard Eagles fan, I love Jason Kelce. I appreciate his LOVE for the city of Philadelphia. He embodies everything our city stands for. On the other hand, Travis Kelce is my fantasy "husband" (my actual husband knows it 🤫). I love his swag, and everything about him Don't judge me y'all! 🤣

My family moved to KC when I was 6, in 1968. I immediately became a Chiefs fan..The AFL. I saw the first preseason game at Arrowhead against Baltimore..saw Johnny Unitas and the opening day game against the Dolphins in 1972.. but my most cherished memory is Bo Jackson's first game at Arrowhead..the baseball game

I've only watched clips until recently. Now I'm watching the full episodes. Thanks guys I greatly appreciate the quality content! I'm a huge Dolphins fans but I'm a fan of both if you guys. I was a center in my pee-wee and high school years. Also a DE. Only remember 1 kick off coverage. But played every play on Offense and Defense.
