Jason, as a daughter of a father who also showed his emotions, let me just tell you how important this is. Having a father who was free with his emotions allowed me to be free with my own and to want that in a partner. Your daughters will look for you in every guy that they meet and they will find a husband who is not afraid to love them. They will settle for nothing less. What a gift you are giving them.

Including those only confirm how incredible he is Edit: And I have respect that can’t be counted that he understands that putting his stress on that woman literally isn’t worth it . The Kelce brothers has a great and interesting history. I love how the way that Jason speaks about Travis and while being the older brother, he never makes it seem as if he's always better and stronger than his younger brother. Jason, it is GOOD that you share your emotions. You're teaching a whole generation of men that it is OK to be emotional. So many men are angry, depressed, etc, because they have been taught by society not to share their emotions, so they implode or explode. Not good. Keep sharing and being emotional. Thank you for it.

I agree. What you see is what you get with Jason. He’s going to say the truth if you ask him a question. He’s not going to try to hurt anyone but he’s an honest man who knows how to be respectful and real with you. I’m so happy that he has a supportive wife and 3 beautiful little girls that absolutely adore him. I think he would be fantastic on an ESPN Sports Network show. He knows players, stats, games… he’d be golden on a show where he could be at home most of the time but film on weekends and still be there to watch his girls grow up. He has the face and voice for television. His answers to Shaq were well-spoken and thoughtful. Shaq is a phenomenal host who can ask the most thought provoking questions to get the most out of an interview. That was a really great show. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Then again, put Dr Shaquille O’Neill and Jason Kelce together, you’re going to have a fun and interesting experience. Love and health to everyone. ❤

Jason has remained humble and grounded despite the enormous success. I’m fast becoming a fan of Shaqs too. I wish all of you great health and continued success. Thanks for the great interview and sharing your industry and life wisdom with all of us. God Bless.

I know Shaq says he doesn’t open up but he technically was vulnerable during this whole podcast. Being open with emotions and being vulnerable doesn’t mean you have to cry. He expressed how he was feeling, how different situations made him feel, different aspirations he has - all of that is emotional vulnerability. Being able to talk about his sister and Kobe even just saying that he blames himself for the regrets he has in those relationships, takes a lot of introspection and courage to voice aloud. I really hope he continues to do that and express himself in his own way as that is what brings him closer to those he so obviously loves and cares about. ❤

I am a 59 year old philadelphia woman whom always has had a man throw my opinions back at me. Intelligence is intimidating. I am in agreement with Shaq. And a smart woman will understand and not need him to open up. She will intuitively be able to navigate. Because she is so smart. I say do not open up yourself to passive aggressive comments and opinions that are unwarranted. Amen Shaq. Brilliant!!!!!

I love the social media brilliance of the production companies like this that give them questions, a team, and an Ed McMahon. When done correctly like this and on New Heights, it's not intrusive, feels very natural, and adds to the quality of the conversation. I legitimately can't tell when Kelse or Ed McMahon are relying on media training or are being genuine. It's perfection. But, dayuuuummm Shaq is about the bag.

It's a true sign of what a great man Jason is when the Chiefs beat the Eagles at the Super Bowl. Chiefs fans cheered for our team, but tears were shed for Jason, too. Chiefs fans around the world donated hundreds of thousands of $$ to Jason's charity after that win. MANY of us became Eagles fans, as ling as they're not playing the Chiefs! When he retired, we cheered for him, and wish him well in his next adventures, whether it be coaching with the Eagles (his dream), or in the booth doing announcing the game, or just being a farmer! What I love about Shaq is there when you asked him a question about how do you handle certain things dealing with explaining it to your son about gambling I really respect somebody when they actually stand up and say I don’t know when they don’t know and that’s something to be respected rather than just give an answer and go off when you really don’t know the best way to handle it I think it’s very respectable when somebody does say that
