Big Performance...Small Formfactor! Nitecore TIP SE!

In this video we take a look at Nitecore's most recent addition to their TIP lineup...the TIP SE. Nitecore has been significantly advancing in their miniature/small formfactor keychain flashlights. This TIP SE is a perfect example of such advancement! With great programming, excellent output, and manageable runtimes, this TIP SE is my favorite flashlight in the miniature lineup. Bringing this out into the mountains as my backpacking flashlight/lighting option, will this perform the way I need it to? The only way to find out is to watch!

Always realistic product testing on your channel. AS long as it is safe /you are safe - I love storms. I like the belt clip or keychain option. Very good strong lil light.

Thanks! I like the field use experience. I drag this stuff all over the place to get the footage. I have a Solomon boot video coming out this week...it has some sick hiking footage of where we went on this trip. It was pretty sweet...and some intense climbs!

Solid and practical review. I own a Tip SE and it has become my EDC light, due to the weight and how it gives a very pleasant beam that almost in a way floods instead of given you a blinding hot spot, especially in my line of work where I tend to use my light to look into cupboards, behind fridges, stoves and inside ceilings. I carry mine in a Double H2O waist carrier that's been repurposed for all my daily tools like Multitool, knife, light (Tip SE) and for my Smartphone, wallet, car keys and alcohol hand wipes. I don't place my Tip SE on my car key chain as it's not totally practical for me. The Turbo mode is a nice to have but I seldomly use, I mainly use the 30 lumen and 180 lumen settings most of the time. Great light for my daily applications. Other than that, for my more demanding needs, I use a Nitecore NF01 (known as the NM01 for those living outside of South Africa).

Honestly, I think this is the perfect light for like 80% of people. Small, like the size of those shitty button cell lights, but still very usable. Nice usb recharging. Long enough run time for every day activities. Durable. Not very expensive. Pretty much perfect. Personally took the clip off because I don't wear a hat that often and I don't clip it to my pants, so don't care about that clip. Edit: my clip is 10x tighter than yours, I guess they fixed it by now.

Tip se is not even that much larger, and offers a lot more value to me personally. Get the tiki if you really need the smallest but still usable flashlight.

Gizmo hates bright light 😡. I bought a keychain light as a gift last yr I think it was a nitecore but it was even smaller for a keychain and was 380 lumens USB rechargeable same square look just a hair smaller.

@@outerlimitless I have some brighter and more expensive lights but the thrunite T1 would be my pick small light great hat clip so I don’t need an extra head lamp takes up no room plenty light I can charge it with my Anker 26800 mah battery and I have an Anker solar panel that I can charge the Anker battery with or just charge the flashlight convenient for hiking camping big out SHTF though I do like having a backup which is my streamlight flashlight no usb charging but I can charge it from any car with juice and is about 2000 lumens and I do love my nightcore tiki see through version that I can charge the same way I would the thrunite.

Don't glue the clip, just heat his sides a litle when is off the flashlight and squeeze a little until is cool of, and it will stay more tight on the body of flashlight

Is it normal for it to flash red automaticly when the battery is low? Because mine does.
