Whoever restored that tractor did an awesome job.
I to hadn't heard of this until I found the stripped out remains of one in a salvage yard. Did a search and finally found a Super 95, a GVI in disguise. It has the 471 diesel in it. The 95 was the older GB. I later got a LPG 97. Has the 504 LP engine and a better hydraulic system. It will pull any thing that my 1206 will pull. First time we took one of them to a show, a few Massey experts argued with us that it wasn't genuine and we were trying to pull a fast one on them, I had to show them the ID tag and the operators book.

Most beautiful tractor I’ve seen. My new favorite
One of my neighbours had one of these 97 Masseys. Great dependable workhorse.
I didn't know this little tidbit of information, I'm shocked and in awe. Now that is one beautiful tractor that Mr. Nick Smith has there. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for another great video. This was interesting because of the way it was built. Lots of history there and interesting. Beautiful tractor this gentleman has. Looks wonderful. Thanks for showing this tractor to us. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
I got a 1963 Massey ferguson dieselmatic 65 and i love it. Has fluid in tires and it will pull, stout little jewel. Power steering you can turn with your pinky finger. Those Moline Massey are in tractor salvage yards and talk about bringing you to the past
Dad bought a 44 MH in the early 1960s and worked a lot of ground with it. Later bought a big 1080 MF and a 5 bottom Massey plow too. Picked up a 33 MH for pto work as well.

Massey-Ferguson Tractors = Mighty-Fine Tractors. I own 2 different models, & I wouldn't own any other brand either.
When I was a kid in the 80's I always loved to drive my late grandpa's 1946 Farmall H he bought brand new, later when he got to where he couldn't get around very well he asked if I wanted to buy it and of course I said yes, that was 1998 and I still have it.
beautiful machine
I grew up on a 63 Ferguson 50 and 65 they were solid reliable tractors and the 97 Sharp As A Tack.

I'm still working my 1959 M-F 50 gasoline. Great tractor.
I love it!!! She’s a beast!!!
Beautiful tractor
Darn cool tractor never knew
My Neighbor has one .
My Cousins owned a MM Dealership for years then White.... I almost bought a G V-706 with Front wheel assist from them.
MINNE MO POWER 💪🏻🇺🇸🏴☠️🏴☠️
I'm being bias, But the M. M. Tractor looks better in M-F Red. & as far as Oliver people teasing people who own 98's some of those engines were produced by GM. Oliver was bought out by White which was later bought by AGCO; Which bought M-F so they are all in the same family now. All I see is M-F Red; I own a 1959 M-F 50 gasoline, & a 2018 M-F 1526 diesel. The 59 still has her work clothes on, & will always be a working tractor. You have a very nice collection Mr. Nick Smith, I'm willing to bet all You see is M-F Red. Or as I like to say Massey-Ferguson Tractors = Mighty-Fine Tractors. Thank you CTF for the video.
Long hood. Reminds me of a 359 peterbilt

Or a 78 Lincoln
Nice tractor. I worked for a Massey Ferguson dealership and I didn't even know that ever happened I know they were different for sure. I could go to our parts counter and ask for a certain for a 97 and our parts man just said he'd have to order them not telling the parts had to be for a MiniMoe and not a stock Massey part.
Had a G705 MM on LP in 1969. This was our big tractor. Pulled a 15 ft disk and 11 shank chisel plow
That's good history. Massey had to make a business decision. Right or wrong, it is what they did.
Are you interested in a model 88
It a mini mo in disguise
It was made to same year I was. It's a lot prettier tho :))
He could bump that Moline Engine up to 800 Cubic Inches with stock parts .
I always hear about how farmers are barely making a living; but the when I watch your show those farmers have a barn full of tractors & all their buildings look new. I just can't seem to understand the barely making it part

Sometimes looks can be deceiving, the debt load could be massive or more than likely he's on his dad's or grandparents place.

Kubota. Half this country was farmers 100 years ago. Now between 1 and 2 %. Lots went out of business. Those who bought land at the right time, raised the right crops, and made money survived. Some today are barely making it. But also many wealthy farmers who have these nice collections. Like playing the stock market.
It's just unique. Not very unique. There are not variations or degrees of uniqueness.
Hi priced toy.smokes like a train.
