Kenneth Doniell Moore, better known by his stage name Big Moe, was a rap-singer from Houston, Texas. Big Moe's music is very unique, blending southern rap with soulful melodies that made his voice recognizable and loved by people all across the world.
Kenneth, as remembered by childhood friends and family always had a passion for singing, entertaining and aspiring to make a living from his voice.
As one of the original members of the “Screwed Up Click,” Big Moe was a frequent voice on Dj Screw's mixtapes providing soulful hooks often with lyrics made up on the spot. Big Moe was the catalyst for one of Screw's most famous tapes, June 27th and collaborated with other H-Town legends such as Fat Pat, Lil Keke, Big Pokey, H.A.W.K.
In 2000, Big Moe signed a recording contract with Wreckshop Records and released his debut album, City of Syrup in (2000); which included the hit singles, Barre Baby and Mann!.
A year and half later, Moe returned with his second album, Purple World in (2002), the album ranked as high as No. 3 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart thanks to the success of one of Moe's most successful songs, "Purple Stuff".
Big Moe’s third and last album, Moe Life, was issued in 2003, including the commercially successful single “Just a Dog.
After suffering from a severe heart attack, Big Moe passed away in 2007 leaving behind his beloved brother, K-Love and Mama Moe.
Big Moe was a "Southside living legend" throughout his career, and now through his influence, his music and the love from his fans, Big Moe will 4 Ever be an icon.

Please pay attention to what killed Moe: sipping that garbage, alcohol, lack of exercise and the American standard slave diet. But know matter how much you work out. The diet is crucial. I'm not here to preach. Some of these cats are my cousins. Even though I was raised in CA. My roots( peoples) are the Coleman's from Texarkana and a lot of my people are in Houston TX. I'm not here to preach but as black folks. We are amazing people. We create something out of nothing, we're physically strong, resilient, hella smart, must I go on? But.... messing around with those synthetic meds and over the counter man made drugs/mixing it with sugar and food dyes, white bread, brisket etc... We're all going to die but it wasn't Moe's time. He could have fixed that with a correction in his diet rather easily. Tip: order a gallon of food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide. Do not drink it straight up because you'll die. You have to dilute it with water. Run a tub full of hot water that you can safely sit down in. Pour a coffee cup full of the 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide in your bath water( measure it first) and then soak in it for 30 mins to an hour. Keep a gallon of water so you can stay hydrated because you'll sweat like a mutha. The largest organ on your body is the skin. The 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide bath/soak will remove all types of chemicals, toxins and drugs from your bodies and it'll help remove plaque from your arteries but it takes time kinfolks. People are always worried about detoxing the internal organs and forget about the exterior that's bombarded 24/7. This will increase you libido, unclog plaque from your arteries, clear your thinking etc... Big moe should have known about this. Somebody needs to tell Pokey about this if he'll listen because he's in bad, bad health. Just sharing family. One
