    Jenn, I know you posted this video months ago, but I just wanted to say that this is really helpful for me. I'm on Day 2 of WW (I've never been apart of this program before), and I'm just combing through WW KZread videos now to gain encouragement and tips and all that I can to help me stay on the plan and not fall off the tracks. I'm currently at the highest weight I've ever been and I realised for probably the first time the other day that I have a severe and dangerous addiction to processed and fast foods and I've developed all sorts of health problems because of it (problems that I just wasn't really ready to admit to). Worst of all, I used excuses, excuses, excuses to try and blame everything else for why I was gaining weight and avoided pointing the finger at myself the entire time. I've been ready to make a change in my lifestyle and eating habits for years, and I'm now trying to take positive steps to ensure that I meet my goal weight in a couple of years. ❤️

    Jenn, is there a easier way to track food in the WW app... I cook from Scratch for most meals and try to measure, as well, weigh amounts I cook with... but find this so time consuming and I find myself Irritated with the app....so I have days I don't track... Wich is not good for me, just starting out and trying to learn the WW ways... I have a lot of weight to loose and I just can't get frustrated and discouraged....

    I stopped WW about a year ago. I wasn't successful on the program. I just rejoined and watched this video to get some ideas and motivation. Except for drinking water which I'm good at, I made every single one of the mistakes you mentioned. I didn't use all the points and I focused on workarounds eating too much processed food. I'm back to eating real foods but want to lose weight so I'll be taking your comments to heart. Thank you.

    Awesome video, Jenn! I have eliminated just about all sugar from my diet (except what natural sugar I get through fruits) and I feel so much better! I have also lost 20 lbs in 10 weeks on WW - I am loving their new plan and have never had this much success on WW in the past.

    I joined WW back in 2021 & lost 60lbs. Then I hit a plateau and there I've been since Nov 2021. I saw this video and oh my gosh it hit home. I know that something was wrong. After watching your video I finally get it and thank you so much. This has helped me immensly! Now the work begins and this time I feel more confident that I can do this.

    I love this! I am totally intolerant to anything sugar-free and it's so frustrating to see all the What I Eat in a Day that revolve around those foods and fat-free everything. This is so much more realistic and healthy!

    I have made all these mistakes this week. I woke up weighed myself and cried cause I gained a pound. I know now I didn’t eat enough or drink enough water. Thank you for showing me what to do. I feel better and will continue on my journey

    Jenn, I just saw this post. This is exactly why WW has not been successful for me. THANK YOU. It makes sense why I haven't been successful. Recently, I haven't counted my fruits on WW because I'm a diebetic, and it made me mad that WW counts my fruits, but they also gave me a few more points to do so. After listening to your post, it makes sense to me now. Thank you. It's time for me to start tracking correctly. The skinny popcorn has been my snack of choice lately, but I overdo my portions because I beng eat when stress. I'm going to rewatch again, change things up, and be accountable to my health. 😢❤😮😊

    Wow!!!! I am 14 mins into this video and you are so right about so many things!!! I have been doing WW for about 2 weeks. My reduced fat mozzarella cheese will not even melt over my black beans! That is NOT food and cannot be healthy. I know we need healthy fats and I have been avoiding cheese like the plague due to the “point value”. My scales go up and down over the last week, my stomach feels tore up and I feel nauseous!! Fat free doesn’t = healthy! Happy to have found your channel. Congratulations 🎊 on your success!! 🥳❤️

    I wish I could like this video 100 times! Great topic. I switched to calorie counting last August after always feeling hungry and not eating enough on WW. From watching your videos I watch my protein and fiber and feel so much better now that I eat more and eat better quality foods.

    This is such a good video. I did ww before and did a lot of these things. I lost a lot of weight but then life happened and I couldn’t maintain it. This time around I’m really trying to make sustainable choices, I literally had dominoes pizza last night. I used my weeklies (which I rarely used before), tracked it, ate slowly and enjoyed really enjoyed it, and stopped when I was full. Put the leftovers in the freezer for another time when I want more instead of finishing them the next day. I’ve been moving away from the fat free cheeses as well. I feel much more positive this time around and this video just really hit home. So thank you!

    Amen! Quality over quantity! I have been working towards clean, mostly organic, real food! We don’t “need”sugar, and I am working on removing added sugars. As you said, it’s a process & focusing on little changes at a time and keep working towards my goals.

    I appreciate these tips! Especially the encouragement to use all points and weeklies. I am just restarting the program. I tend to have all or nothing thinking(restrict/binge). Saving those weeklies will help immensely with that!

    I switched to healthy foods and the healthy app that does both points and calories. I ran out of daily points and only ate 800 calories. Crazy. So now if I go over points it’s fine as long as my calories are between my chosen range of 1200-1300. I noticed with healthy foods and drinking 64oz with the water bottle. I have been losing inches and not as hungry as I used to be. Jenn your advice is spot on!!!!! 🌟

    Thank you for this video! Ive been on WW since Feb 2021 and im down 113lbs. I am so happy! But im learning throughout that i have to do what i know i can sustain. i wouldnt be able to drink a smoothie for breakfast and for lunch for the rest of my life, for example. No thanks. That is not my jam and it does not satiate my hunger in any way. But I might consider it if i needed to lose ten lbs to fit into a dress for a specific event, knowing that i would go right back up again lol. i MIGHT consider that. But for the rest of the time, I need to eat what i like, what i want to continue eating forever and ever, and it has to be affordable and accessible too. Thank you for all the reminders in this video of various things we have done that can affect the journey!

    I totally agree with everything you said in this video. Especially the part about the scale. I became obsessed with the number on my scale. I would weigh myself every day and if it didn't go down I would beat myself up about it. I would only eat 700 -900 calories daily. And then I would binge eat because I was so hungry. I did this for probably 2 years. I lost muscle mass and gained a very unhealthy relationship with food and my scale. I got down to 116 lbs and STILL was not happy with myself or my body. It was very hard to sustain this kind of lifestyle. I was hungry most days and I really believe I hurt my metabolism by eating this way for so long. If I eat anything about 1000 calories I gain and some days I even gained eating 700-900 calories. It is very frustrating. I started feeling like I needed to eat less and less to lose weight. I recently started eating more and lifting weights with my husband and yes I have gained weight but I feel like most importantly I need to be healthy and am trying to heal my mindset as well. Its definately a daily struggle but this video makes so much sense to me.

    You are awesome! Great advice. I have had issues since I was 12 years old I have been on diets so for so long I have had an unhealthy relationship with food and not living myself, this time I have to decided to love myself first and developing a good relationship with food. Ps:I am a certified health coach, nurse, and personal trainer, I know what to do but my brain has to be retrained to care about me the way I would care for others. ❤️ 2 days of my new love of myself so far!

    I am so glad you shared this!!! I did Atkins for a couple years and lost some weight before getting stuck. One thing I learned from Dr Atkins first book was how low fat foods are worse than full fat. Coming over to WW I disagree with how they favor low fat foods. I'm trying to eat real food as much as possible. The thing I struggle with most is adding in more fruits and veggies. I don't normally eat breakfast and I'm not hungry for it, yet people say to eat anyway. So I appreciate you sharing what you'd do differently.

    Loved the video. You look great! I track in both My Fitness Pal and the WW Ap. I feel it is key to maintaining my 85 lb weight loss. I have logged my food 3,135 days in a row. I find foods that satisfy and stick with them. I am so determined to keep the weight off.

I just made Lifetime goal for the 4th time! I realized I’m not eating all of my weekly points! Today I making that change and tracking water better !     Great video!! The last time I did Weight Watchers, I ate a lot of frozen dinners. Since then, I have learned about the beauty of cast iron skillet cooking and air fryers are now a thing. So it has become much easier for me to eat Whole Foods. My problem before I restarted the Weight Watchers is not realizing how devastating 10” tortillas were when I would make a food wrap. And also, how important it is to really be careful on the high point items such as shredded cheese. Like you, I refuse to eat low fat anything, so I think I’m good there. Thank you for the video!!

    Thank you so much for this video. I could not figure out why I was not lose any weight for the last few weeks. My thinking way I was eating to much. When I never really eat my daily points. When my husband keeps telling me I’m eating to much. I have been on WW for I long while. But after we moved out of Calif. to Idaho it gain 30 pounds of the 50 I lose. I had reached my goal. But after the move and not being able to find all the fresh fruit and vegetables I use to eat here I started to gain. And my blood pressure started going up again. I started in the summers to grow my own vegetables and have been eating thoughts in the summer but winter here is a big problem for me. It’s to cold outside. But any way I am glad I saw this video of yours about eating all of your daily points. And weekly’s at some time of the week. So thank you. And I can tell you I have made almost everyone of the mistakes you talked about.

    This is the video I have been looking for ❤️! Started WW about a week ago due to heart issues and hubby is also doing it with me. I really enjoy it and I am shocked at all the evil things I was eating and especially drinking. I was addicted to Ginger Ale about 4 20oz bottles a day! 🙈 I cannot drink diet drinks so water it is. I feel so much better already and being accountable is the best. Hubby is not using all his points. So, I am sending him this link! Thank you very much.

    Thanks, I will start to use my weeklies more. With the water I was doing the 64oz but for me I had to go down to the 6glasses, 48oz. I was just up too many times going to the bathroom during the day and night. I wasn’t getting enough sleep. I will slowly try to space out the water to go back to 64. Thanks on sugar free tip I was contemplating do I need to purchase that sugar free ketchup or bbq sauce. I’ll stick to just measuring for now. I’m finding that a tbsp or 2 is really all I need. I do like the zero sugar yogurts. I have watched other videos and found some of your products. I put the yum crumbs or extra fruit on the yogurt. I did find the Catalina crunch in a snack size bag. I’ve used those to add a little crunch to my snacks. I’m enjoying all your product recommendations. Next, I’m going to purchase the fiber gourmet pasta, and I am going to look for the cactus chips and the seven Sunday chocolate snack. I’m also going to look more closely at the ingredients more when picking out healthier snacks. My current snacks besides what I listed above are the cauliflower pretzels which I was eating before ww. I also keep the cauliflower cheese crackers on hand. I like the crunch and lightness of them especially on the go. I must admit I don’t think I looked at the ingredients. I do switch up my snacks because I get bored and I snack on fruits and veggies as well. Thanks Jenn.

    Thanks for sharing all you have learned on your journey, Jenn! I'm still struggling with breaking the habit of breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, etc. I say habit because my body tells me it's time for something to eat whether or not I need or want it. I appreciate all of this information!

    Maltodextrin is a "no sugar" sweetener that spikes blood glucose higher than sugar. Sugar is rated at 80, high fructose corn syrup at 87, glucose at 100, and maltodextrin at 110.

    I love this video and am so glad I found you! I never have loved the fake sugar and always feel the real stuff was better, in moderation that is. I would rather have that’s extra calories or points than use the fake stuff and now feel better about it.

    I feel that is one thing WW did not teach me, is to listen to my hunger. I could be wrong. Maybe I missed that teaching.I love this video. I struggle with my metabolism being slower right now because of beta blocker I take for my heart palpitations. Also, do you recommend Monk fruit?

    I just started WW a few weeks ago. So far, so bad. lol. 100% my fault. I'm eating more than all my points in a day or week. I know I need to eat more zero point foods - and far more veggies. And far less sugar and treats. Today I did almost nothing but eat -- just felt hungry all day and was home all day doing nothing. I'm also well over 50 and so my metabolism is slowing way way down, post-menopause. And muscle mass loss. *sigh*. But I weigh 20 pounds more than I've ever weighed before and am determined to lose at least 10 so my clothes fit well again. Glad to find your channel.

    This was very helpful! I did Jenny Craig last year and lost 59 pounds on that, however Jenny Craig has its flaws (i.e. almost all of the food is purchased from them and proportioned for you, almost all foods need to be microwaved, and it's incredibly expensive. I didn't think I learned anything about maintenance with them because of this). I then stopped Jenny Craig right before Christmas and surprise, I didn't fully understand how to track my food intake. I ended up gaining 9 pounds quickly. I was extremely bloated also. When I started WW I lost all of the bloat weight basically overnight. I felt better. As of today I'm actually weighing less than my last Jenny Craig appointment and have lost more than 60 pounds. I'm seeing results with weight watchers, and I attribute that to eating real foods every day. I have about 15 pounds to go until the scale says I'm healthy according to the BMI chart. I'm not in this for the data as you put it, but rather I'm in it for my own mental and physical health. I'm so happy to be eating real foods and I'm not eliminating things I like to eat. I'm learning to eat in moderation and to add more fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. As a side note, I remember talking to my hairdresser about my journey. She mentioned that in her 20 years of hairdressing, her clients that did WW were more successful at keeping the weight off than other clients that did other diets. Your video was definitely helpful in helping me to know some potential pitfalls and how to avoid them. Thank you for this. Also your weight loss is an inspiration! 95 pounds is incredible!

    Great video! I've been off and on ww for years and I've made most of these same mistakes. The thought I've been having lately is why pay for ww when you have to double track anyway and we know we aren't getting what we need just sticking strictly to points? Seems like the thing to do would be just count calories/pay attention to macros. I'd welcome anyone's input on this🙂

    What are your thoughts on carbonated waters such as La croix or polar or bubbly? I get a lot of grief for drinking diet soda or zero soda so I’m trying to switch to water but drinking a canned fizzy water does help me.

    Thank you for this video!!! I went from being fit and healthy to being fatigued and gaining a lot of weight. My thyroid was functioning at 20% when they discovered cancer and completely removed it. I stopped gaining more weight, but am having trouble losing what I gained. You are so informative.     I plan on starting WW soon because I’ve been having health problems. My problem is, I hate water because it has no flavor🥴 I only drink it if its a really hot day or I know my body needs it. Making sure I drink plenty of water is definitely gonna be an issue for me.
