I have lived that experience back in 2008. I thought my life would end. My family of five was no more. The first year was brutally hard and I felt so alone. As time things got better. I will admit the experience made me into the man I always wanted to be, much more secure and I am never afraid of being alone. Hang in there, time does truly heal you. Take care.

I want to thank you for bringing the seasons of New England to me. I was born out near Cape Cod. My family, Aunts and Uncle's, my older cousin's all grew up in Mass. NH Vt. and Maine. My brother and I grew up in south Florida. We spent 8 weeks in summer camp in Wiscassit, Me for a.couple summers. I'm older now, 58, and getting ready to retire. You have given me inspiration to spend a few seasons of my retirement in New England and I thank you for your channel to inspire that intrest. So who knows......one day I hope to pop in and say hello and to personally thank you for your kind, soft, gentle and beautiful presentation of simple pleasures of time with friends, the golden hour with a loved one. Mr. Kyle . . . thank you for the 'escape' . . . possibly you know, maybe not, but there is a 'War In The Woods' continuing to take place on Vancouver Island, British Columbia at present to save the demise of enormous 2,000 year old trees from greed laden forest harvesters!! 2,000 people came from far and wide today alone {Sunday May 30th}, broke through a police line in place to try to keep protesters out.... now over a 1,000 remain camping in the rain and cold. The others returned back to their homes in BC, or maybe to safer areas to sleep the night outside the perimeter. So ....'this' very story of your creation was in great enormous need. I hope your trees of such glory are protected where you are.

It is such an honor to be a part of your amazing journey!

Doing yard work- my kind of GIFT! My daughter is visiting for a week. We went to the garden center and she helped me pick out my flowers for the summer (since my husband hates doing that). Best of all she planted them for me- so I know how your mom feels!

You make every day seem like the perfect day. I’m smiling from beginning to the end of the video and I even got teary-eyed when I saw the girl on the swing. You are a beautiful soul. Keep living your dream.

I knew I loved your channel because I’ve never subscribed to one before now, but I wasn’t sure exactly “why” I was so enamoured. I finally, after many episodes, understand what this channel truly is - to me, it is like a beautifully, narrated story with insertions of actual live, endearing footage filled with the love of friends and family. Such a meaningful evolution and genuine revelation about life’s journey. We are living in unique times, if I think back even 20 years ago, not only would we not have videos or content like this, maybe we would only hear about people’s lives in the story’s they would tell around a diner table or doing them ourselves…. But we are in a age where we all long for these homey connections and memory making outings…… maybe we just entertain ourselves most of the time but perhaps it will light the fires of connection in us or the motivation to get out there and live life to its fullest…..thank you both….

I am enjoying your journey. I have several videos to catch up on because I had a birthday in April also and went to FL to see a friend of mine. We are old now and I just felt that if I did not see her soon, it may be too late. We had fun and talked about when we were young and working together in center city Philadelphia 52 years ago. While there, I saw a double rainbow. It was magical. I thought we were probably looking at the same rainbow. There were so many people out looking at it and as I was taking photos, a young couple came to me and asked if I would take their photo standing between the two rainbows. Of course, I did. I am an old romantic. Enjoy your summer and I promise to be on here more to watch your inspiring videos. They always make me think and remind me what is important in my life.

Loved the video but loved the heart to heart at the end even more. It is so very easy to get lost in the stress of one or many projects along with everyday life stuff. You miss little moments of pure bliss, understanding and just the awareness of yourself on this planet and how spectacular that is. That greenhouse looks like a perfect place to listen to any nature sounds and completely reset and center. Love you both have that and can’t wait to see what’s in store. Sending good vibes to all 💙🌎

I don’t think there is any thing that you can’t do, Kyle. You can fix a truck, fly fish, build a cabin from scratch, bake sourdough bread and make pizza, plant a garden, photograph and journal your experiences, the list goes on and on. I am in awe of how capable you really are in dealing with life’s challenges

My wife and sister in law are here in Lee Mass. with me staying at a little inn on a small lake. It is the black swan inn and it’s very neat and beautiful and the sun is setting on the west side of the lake. It’s our first time in Mass. and it will be a memory to revisit one day in the future. Tomorrow a little time exploring the town and then off to Dover NH. And on up to Bar Harbor Me. All the best to your family & friends 👍🎩😎
