I genuinely feel bad for the zombies the day we have a zombie out break. This man will open up the doors to that axe/chainsaw shed and get his cheeky grin on his face and simply say “friends, it’s time..” 😂😂

I split eucalyptus. It's hard and un forgiving. And when I started several years ago, I thought about a log splitter. I'd definitely need one 32 tons plus. A used one cost about $700. A rented one just didn't make sense. Gas, maintenance, lugging and lifting the rounds into the machine. The math didn't add up. I vowed to split by hand ever since. My friends think I'm crazy and they don't come around much anymore.

I’m 40, and just ran a chainsaw for the first time last week. Stihl ms250. Saw an ad for free wood....Kentucky coffe. Went and cut it into logs, brought some home and split it with an axe. Looked for tips and found your channel. Thanks for your awesome attitude, and information! I’m addicted to this channel now lol

Some people pay good money for gym memberships. They spend time traveling back and forth and working out at the gym, and what they get for it is, maybe, some health benefit. BR Spends some time busting firewood, gets his workout at no cost and with a product at the end. Since I retired, I tell people "I don't need a gym membership. I'm a homesteader." I swing axes, shovel dirt, move timber - I do physical work that has a product as well ;) And while I've spent much of my life being a competitive athlete, I'm in the best shape of my life now at 63.

Log splits are also for disabled bikers that can't swing an axe no more... I swung an axe from the age of ten until the motorcycle wreck that end a big part of my life at 53 years of age... Some friend I don't know who sent me a 21 ton log splitter. It was the best gift I ever received. We couldn't find anyone to come split the wood we need for to winter, so we ended up getting old skids to cut up to burn. When all the while we had at least 5 cords of wood that just needed someone to split it...

Hey Buckin just my two cents on the log splitter I’m in northwest lower Michigan the fire wood I get is mostly maple tree tops left over from the loggers not much straight grain lots of crotches. Also when I tell people I burn pine they all say ” oo you are going to get creosote your house will burn down” I use both and burn it all hot no smoke. Love the videos keep them coming
