Great addition Brent! To me, at the end of the day, the Authentic is fantastic. It is real, it presents well, and saved you some dough. Enjoy it for what it is: a beautiful piece of cardboard. Appreciate you sharing.

I appreciate the shout-out Brent and I loved the line, "knew him before the tattoos!". 😁 Great looking Nap and I dig the idea about collecting the players with a sweater on! Worst case, being this is for your collection, you could crack it out and put it in a binder to ignore the "trimming" wording. It is amazing that an item that is 115 years old, does look so good after all of that time.

Brent - Absolutely love the Nap! Great pickup! As a Cleveland fan, I still need to add one of his cards to my PC. Congrats 👍🏻

Your authentic looks better than my 1. You know I approve. It's a winner! Long live the sweater gang!

I like your thought process on the trimming of that particular card. Beautiful card for sure and you could probably only get it because it was authentic, at least that would be the case for me. I think about what old cards have been through all the time. It almost seems like a miracle sometimes that they still exist. I would say you are getting close to a plethora of sweater T206 cards.

For me, a card like that, a grade doesn’t matter. Authentic is just fine. Beautiful Nap Brent!

Very nice. I think it would be helpful if grading companies were to distinguish between a period alteration and one done long after the fact say for a profit motive. Even aside from questioning whether the far-from-expert personnel would be capable of discerning this kind of thing, I do get it that it might be troublesome to decide things like a cut off date for calling an alteration "period" and so on.
