A bit of a battle.
Underfoiled is horrible. Don’t do it to yourself.
I followed Sam Kynman Cole out to the gulf harbour buoy, he made it but I fell short… just un able to make the last kilometre up wind.
You can see how hard it is with no assistance from wind at your back… it feels like the swells speed up as they glass over.
I eventually get on foil and ride the thin line to get home.

@@bigtone667 yea me too! It was blowing high teens when I set off. 1601 would be crazy! I’m not sure it could work in bumps could it? but flat water 🤙🤙

How many runs are you doing a week!?

As many as I can manage… depends on wind first then body then mind. I can often do 2-4 ~10km runs per day if conditions are good. I might manage two or three days of that before hoping for a windless day 😅
So you wish you’d had your art pro 1401?

Yea, I’ll have to rewatch it to see if it would have been cruisy on the 1401 but for sure the 1401 would have been much much easier. 🤙🤙
