Love the hit studio and videos getting pumped out. Here’s an idea for Rick and the crew: maybe use Srixion Divide balls when testing putters that way the roll is easy to see on camera. Just an idea.

Taylormade bought Adams for the technology and now they use the Speed slot tech in all their woods that Adams golf invented. Glad to see Adams golf making a come back.

Some of their irons had the slot too. I think the Adams Blue irons had it and a few others. Taylormade made a really good decision buying Adams for the patents. A few years after the acquired them the P790 came out and really changed the game.

I'm 41 yrs old now. I played all my junior golf with a Ping Zing2 and was devastated when it got stolen. My car got stolen with it in the boot in 2002. This was around the same time Yes! Golf launched. I bought the Victoria II and fell instantly in love with the pure and smooth roll off the face. I have kept it in pristine condition. I'm just about to regrip it next week for my club champs next month. I'm excited to see a new putter with C-Grooves ..but I don't think it should have been under the Adams brand name. Taylormade should relaunch the C-Groove technology under the original Yes! brand.

I bought an Adams Mission putter and recieved it a couple of weeks ago. I really love everything about it, looks, feel and grip are all excellent. It costs $199 + tax (Canadian), the value is unbeatable. It's pretty cool to see a review of something after I've bought one!

I still use my Yes Stephanie (and have a spare in the garage). They are great value relative to the crazy prices for putters nowadays. Was sad when they got mothballed in the Taylormade takeover of Adams (hence one in the garage), so glad they are making a comeback. I think Matt Fitzpatrick has used one since he was a junior and has even had Bettinardi “recreate” it for him since they weren’t available - that’s a strong recommendation.

I love the reviews. Rick you’re great at breaking down the market for the products you test. For myself being a 30 handicap I am never going to buy the latest and greatest. It’s a waste of money and won’t improve my game so it’s great to see an honest review for a club in my price range. My current putter is an old second-hand odyssey. I bought it a few years ago for $30. Most of the golfers I know are frugal and just won’t spend on equipment. My dad kept his same driver in the bag for over 20 years.

Very interesting! This takes me back many, many years but I never used to carry fairway woods because I couldn't get them off the ground. Until I discovered a set of Adams Tight Lies and they were world changing. I get the lack of options for shaft style and shape might be limiting but the price of these new putters is a huge selling point. I'd be hard pressed to ever believe that spending three times more for a top end putter would result in a corresponding improvement in scoring.

Great video Rick! I could tell where you were going to hit the ball with the blade with the camera angle they were giving us. You were hitting exactly were you were aiming. You have a great stroke! With the fang like putter it looks like you you see the putting line better and with your solid stroke you seem to make more putts with it.

To prevent rust, right before you put them in storage put a light coat of WD-40 on the shafts with a rag and you will not have to worry about it. I have to ask, if the putter was so great, why aren't you still using it? Not being confrontational, but sometimes golfers, like us, just have to have something new, even when the old stuff works just fine. With putters, it's not like there are huge technological leaps.

@@leonardhandzlik6008 My swing path works best with a mallet. As nice as the Yes was, I fought it more often than not because it had a ton of toe hang, which is best for players with an arc in their stroke. I don’t have that so I swapped it out for a new one. I loved the face feel and consistency off the face, but couldn’t control direction as well as I wanted.

I just recently replaced my putter and absolutely love it and will sure as heck keep it, but i just wasnt feeling the love anymore. It will get used again someday but today is a diff one. Another reason which is rare but does come up is course played. Couple courses i rarely play, but do play, greens are like marble….FAST!!! I will take my cleveland huntington beach which is super soft feel, like hitting a sponge, far easier to control on super fast greens.
