@bigfreedia it was wonderful meeting you! When we heard that you would be the celebrity sharing our story we were elated. We knew you would understand the hustle it took to make Destination Tomorrow a reality.
Thank you @sheamoisture for recognizing the importance of allowing the voice of a black trans led grassroots agency in the South Bronx to be heard. Oftentimes during #Pride platforms are provided for larger, well funded LGBT agencies. When in reality it is the smaller agencies that have the most impact. At Destination Tomorrow, we are the community we serve, employing black and brown LGBTQ community members.
