BIG CORAL TROUT l Fishing Magnetic Island, Townsville

I spend a day fishing Magnetic Island off the coast of Townsville and catch a big Coral Trout and Crocodile Flathead before the sharks turn up. I leave the boat and go for a hike and get rewarded with spectacular views.

I'm thinking that this is coastal Taipan country. And that is one serious snake.

Once again you have managed to find some amazing scenery on you very successful fishing adventure. Those shoes didn't stay on for long, but looked necessary on that rocky terrain. Keep the adventures coming! 👍👍

I’m definitely more comfortable barefoot but the boots are a necessity at times when hiking in Northern Australia.

@@returnoutdoors2210 Mate, for me it’s the scenery. I love that island so much it’s spiritual for me. If you can do something near Nobby headland and take in the houses there. Mud crabbing along the reef along cockle bay amongst the mangroves. If you can get a rock lobster anywhere on the island I’ll shout you a night out when I’m up there next September 😂👍
