I actually love the fire fighter camp idea. Imagine if they also learned how to correctly use a fire extinguisher or put out a small kitchen fire. People legit lose houses and family members over not knowing that stuff. And what kid doesn't want to climb into a fire truck? They would get to learn potentially useful skills, check out a bunch of badass equipment, and gain respect for what firefighters do. All I see is wins.

Well congrats on that milestone and amazing how long Mr. Black has been going with these great segments. I just wonder if we are in for a pretty rough ride in the next 5 to 20 years if we don't do something about this dying Empire and global inequality system that we've been born into without our consent, you know? I really hope people can see that, ultimately, we need cooperation, collaboration and mutual aid to succeed in bringing about the future society we want to live in and we don't turn a blind eye to platforms and organizations that can help us get there. Something like One Small Town initiative or Mutual Aid Networks could be a huge benefit to any community of progressive minded people who are worried about the future but don't want throw everything out and still live where they do but make it better. Maybe we can, one small town at a time, perhaps one neighbourhood at a time. But through a snowball effect, things can get better much faster with that kind of collaboration.

The agrarians were ran out of that aisle of politics years ago and forced to sell their land by foreclosure to the industrialists. If I bring up how bountiful the land was back in the 18th century, it is the Conservatives that say "but slavery!" What ever happened to just letting the kids have fun? I went to summer camp multiple times in the 80’s. We did everything from archery to canoeing, swimming, having campfires…and it was tons of fun. The goal wasn’t to learn anything or practice my future career, it was just to have fun. What’s wrong with that?
