Why does that even matter? Man made Climate change isn't real, and who really cares about the environmental impact of mining of materials? EVs are cheaper to own in most cases.

Not safe , fire incidents , no resale value!

BIC is actually the best, 30 year user. Liberty or King, really cheap lighters, would be a better comparison. 😉

Hauwei EV rear ended a water sprinkling truck. the airbags did not deploy, but it spontaneously combusted, and locked all 3 people inside. It was one month old. Rescuers were unable to get the doors open, or break the windows. The door handles were from BYD. Footage on KZread.

We have a high-end GE dishwasher that was made in China. I have a term for the stainless steel used to make it as barely stainless. It is so thin that the dishwasher came pre-buckled or wavy direct from the plants in China. I made sure the next four major appliances were made in America. My point is that I find quality lacking in every Chinese product that I have had to buy because there is none made in America, like microwaves, etc. I can't imagine owning a Chinese made EV. Or any EV for that matter, the trend has left town.

My mom bought a microwave in 1984, and it was actually made in the USA. Last year, my sister bought her a brand new fully digital, like everything is now, microwave. My mom hated it. It broke two weeks ago. She literally threw it in the front yard, got hers out the closet, plugged it in and it worked like the day she got it. Her stand-up deep freezer was bought at the same place at the same time is also still working without a problem. I never seen anything Chinese last 40 years

I don't believe EVs will die out, there are millions of dumb people out there! C'mon man!

You didn't comment on May sales for BYD & also compare it to other markets......the data has been released. Truth is EV's are the future & people who say they don't like them so be it but more are coming across the EV's so as more come across traditional combustion cars will become more expensive and EV's will get cheaper better and more appealing. Traditional car manufactures are going to be left behind as they have missed the boat just like how they had to be bailed out from Tax payer money shortly after the GFC as buyers turned away due to not putting more tech into the engines where as at the time Europe manufactures were leaping ahead.

My friend bought a used EV which was not the best car ever. No smoke no fumes and no noise. Most of all under $10 to charge it with110 volts. Please don't mislead people. EV is our future to stop the atmosphere from futher poluting. Thank you, we love Elon Musk and his EVs.

And just how long does it take to charge your golf.,.er.. car on 110 volts? 8 hours or more , I’ll bet. Most of us have better things to do than wait for it to charge. Also if you aren’t maintaining and lubricating the rest of the car you will have an unpleasant surprise when things fail. Finally, the battery electric car in its current state is only useful if you don’t drive much, haven’t far to go and there’s charging stations close by. Where I live here in Indiana almost everything is in another city, 30 miles or more away. In inclement weather and a longer drive time most EVs are dead on arrival or a major pain to charge

I took a weekend off from my place to 3 hours drive to Lake Tahoe; on my way drive home it was almost 100 degrees out and saw a charging station with some ev’s under a scorching heat, no shade next to a gas station with shade. Just waiting out under hot sun no restaurants nearby except a gas station and mini mart. I’m glad I didn’t suck into the ev craze instead I bought a non plug in hybrid. I get almost 450 miles range at 42 miles per gallon.
