It's alright, the crown Setrra currently wears is already the best crown that there is in the whole world

Gotta say I'm getting pretty hype again for total war warhammer 3 :D, first update in a while where all the lords, mechanics and stuff just look fun as hell to try. Finally sparked my interest to play the empire or dwarves this time around with all the new changes and features coming ^^

The Gotrek & Felix Mission to unlock is based on the Slanesh cult they encounter in a forest in the book "Trollslayer"

I love that they've been slowing adding more ways for you to move around the (giant) map. Elspeth has that garden mechanic, Wood Elves have world roots, now dwarves have this mountain teleport. And then of course there's the sea lanes. Good stuff.

I hope eventually every faction at least has some way to map travel quickly It sort of sucks once you keep progressing with your main LL that they just end up across the map from your capital and can't help defend it anymore unless you disband them

I think they should add sea currents, you move faster if you follow it and slower if you don't. It has a fixed patern regardless of the game, and it can be changed trough winds of magic

Gelt isn't the only way to get those Cataclysm spells on IE. Warriors of Chaos (except for Be'lakor (who should probably just get access to the Shadows one for his own army) and Valkia) can get them through the Eye of the Gods mechanic and Undivided and Tzeentch factions can access them via the Blue Scribes. whenever the Lizardmen get a rework the Slann should probably get them too. maybe Teclis as well whenever the High Elves get looked at.

You also get them via the blue scribes hero, you can skill them to add the cataclysm spell in the pool.

@@xiaoxiaoxiao4 I mentioned the Blue Scribes... "and Undivided and Tzeentch factions can access them via the Blue Scribes" though the Blue Scribes don't add the Cataclysm spells to their regular pool, they just give a random one to the army they're embedded in as an army ability.

You do get positive diplomatic relations with your own race though and probably control a huge part of the map already once its max level.

That is actually for the empire, other races get different bonuses. Nurgle gets increased spread chance

This to me sounds like the Crown of Nagash that Sigmar wore back in the pre empire and in the end opted to seal it away.

@@ludwigkoopa3343 That's Empire specific bonus so that it doesn't ruin diplomacy within it. Non-empire factions get other bonuses.

Fastus with the crown will be hilarious. Double mortous engine Effect and infinite heals.

Beastmen will love it as well! They have no upkeep and shouldn't care about diplomatic relations anyways, so no real downside to having it.

@@TheBod76 there is a race unique upside and downside to having the crown. Nurgle get increase plague spreading, but at max power their diseases cost more. The Empire has increase relations with other empire factions, but spreads chaos corruption at max power. There WILL be a downside that impacts your faction

The magic is a great idea and something I said slann should have for ages they should be able to channel great magic through owning the ancient city with the Geomantic Web adding more options and quicker charging times the lustrian natives should also have access to hidden jungle routes which allow the lizards to easily move around the area as in lore the jungle is basically alive like athel loren and hides paths and opens others to enemies and allies

Happy to see CA is putting some work into their DLC to make sure we'll be satisfied with it.

So the Nemesis Crown dosen't take an Item slot from the lord?

It's worth noting that you can already get the Cataclysm Spells playing as any Tzeentch faction through the blue Scribes. It's the final magic they unlock in their skill line.

For the lizard man rework the slan should get a couple of those cataclysm spells imo, could even tie into the geomantic web if that ever gets the overhaul it needs to be interesting

Seeing all the subtle groundwork being laid for Total War: Warhammer 40k is bittersweet. I know that it is guaranteed to sell well due to the massive fan base 40k has, but I was really hoping for Total War: Lord of the Rings.

There is a massive lord the rings mod coming soon for Attila called dawnleas days which i highly suggest looking up if your a fan. It’s practically a whole new game

Talking about the Gotrek and Felix Battle: "The Nightmare of Geheimnisnacht Eve" is close to/the title of the first adventure of the duo outside of Altdorf when the venture south towards Karag Eightpeaks. The encounter Slaaneshi Cultists. Nice story to read with a... darker twist at the end. It would be really nice to kinda play along the adventure to gather Boni or maybe different factions have different Quest Battles depending on the territory in which the duo is encountered. Does someone have more insight into this?

The Gotrek and Felix change suits them nicely.

I can't believe they gave us stuff! The community has been asking for that FOR AGES! Almost until AGE OF SIGMAR!

Catacylsm spells are also available to the blue scribes, storm of renewal is available to Aekold and Magma storm for Daniel the daemon prince

The restoration of the deep roads is such an important update. So glad they're finally implementing it. Credit where it is due. CA is really working hard to win us back after their colossal screw up. And it's working.

Here's a question: What happens when as dwarfs you conquer everyone and there is no enemy left to grudge on? Are there any legendary grudges or landmarks that generate grudges settled? Like Hellebron who gets to lock two of her negative timers if she conquers morathi and alarielles capitals

The dwarf tunnel rework is great. Makes the campaign a lil more flavorful. Something for the dwarfs to quest upon and unite all clans *bridge of khazadum theme plays*

I wonder if Gotrek and Felix get a skill tree now, as well as whether or not there were updates to the skills of the dwarf lords and heroes as was the case for the Empire.

Yes and Yes. I’m pretty sure Great Book of Grudges showed off Gotrek and Felix’s new skill tree, and we’ve seen the Empire Captain, Dwarf Thane, Dwarf Lord, and I Believe Empire General all get a new yellow line.

It's pretty great for Empire, as it gives you diplomatic bonus with Empire factions, so unification is easier.

oh man i can already see it now with those tunnels. The Ai will come out of nowhere if its an ally and help or vise versa.

Are there any new settlements? The main issue I had with some dwarf factions is their starting position, mainly Karak Kadrin and Clan Angrund had very weak positions. Provinces that require you to walk at least 3 turns (both), surrounded by huge amount of enemies without really having money, growth and replenishment or friendlies Same will probably do for Malakai. Also some map parts are getting cramped and the area around Kislev surely is one such region, and now there is another LL

So nice to see Bretonnia finally getting the rework/revamp it direly needs for so long and was pointed at since so long and ... ... ... lol, no, here is some (or some more) changes/buff for factions that, without being top factions, doesn't really needed to!

I mean... These modifications are pretty nice, particularly the Dwarves new mountain-fast-travel mechanics... But, really, seriously, I want to be able to enjoy Bretonnia campaign... which is near impossible for non-masochist considering how fucking underpowered they have become compared to literally anyone else from every factions having getting rework/update but them... (i'm talking real update)

IRONMAN mode is a really great update

Hmm... I wonder how the Ai will use the crown, do different characters have a different percentage chance to seal it or using it? Probably just makes everyone keep using it, since they most likely will lose it anyway

Looks like the best DLC they have ever put out, the Empire and dwarf updates were very needed, they felt 5 years out of date. I think there is still room for more Empire DLC in the future.
