Hi! Lua here -a couple things: about Audio & Op Agent! Audio: We have just moved studios this was the last video recorded in our old studio with our old set up. We are working on fixing audio before our next release so hopefully this issue doesn’t happen again. We are looking into new mics as well - we actually just purchased a new set (the ones in this video that started last month and we’re having more issues with these) Op agent: we discussed this and Tori was fine with this. I forgot about my Op Agent as I was hyper focusing on my wheel. This is also my first time with this list on camera 🤷‍♀️ I had said in this video I forgot it - If she wasn’t fine with it I wouldn’t have cast it. This is Tori’s second time playing Najeela - first with the list. Which is why I was giving her options to tutor for. She attempted to tutor again later in the video and I told her not to because op agent is out. This isn’t a ~gotcha~

Hey! Just wanted to add that most audio issues (that I pick up in this video) is the lack of sound absorption. Hope you have that sorted out in the new studio. What mics did you get now? Looking forward to new content. Also happy to help with sound mix/mastering!

@@ESKALIN hi! So we actually ordered more stuff to help with that too! We have a large wall that’s covered in a fur, foam along our walls and we had to get a bigger carpet to help with the floor as well. We’re always open to suggestions as well! We are using the wireless rode mics (the square ones) with wired rode mics plugged in. One set currently has some sound issues we are working to fix. And we’re adding more stuff in studio to help with that sound as well.

8:38 - Ian taking 4 damage does NOT trigger Ob Nixilis to gain a +1/+1 counter since he took 4 damage and did not "lose exactly 1 life". Combat damage all happens simultaneously and not treated as separate instances from each creature that dealt combat damage. "Ob Nixilis's last ability looks at all combat damage dealt to an opponent in total to determine whether it triggers. For example, if three 1/1 creatures deal combat damage to an opponent, that player loses 3 life. Ob Nixilis's ability won't trigger." - Wording straight from the gatherer website for Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin.

On Ian's final turn they blitzed the Jaxis, so it should have sacrificed itself on their end step and drawn a card. This also means they could have sacrificed it for "free" to cast their Diabolic Intent to prevent giving Dan a Dualcaster. Missing that line, Ian could have just Flusterstormed their own Intent in response to the Oppo.

the fist trigger on ob where najella hit ian shouldnt have happened.. all combat damage is delt simultaneously, so since he was hit for 4. it wouldnt have triggered it.

Isn't combat damage all done at the same time therefore ob never sees the 1? That's how I always saw it lol

No, I’m sure each creature does its own instants of damage but that’s how I see it tbh. Again I’m not 100%

You are correct. While the damage is all separate sources, the life loss is added together and is one instance. So there was 4 life lost, which should not trigger Ob. People often confuse that with damage dealt, but Ob cares about life loss, not damage.

@@kyuubisaiyan3 Not quite. Damage causes loss of life. They are not interchangeable. Effects that double damage don't double life loss effects for example. Also, you can have different scenarios where you lose life not as a result of damage, such as paying life, direct life loss, and life total setting or exchanging. But besides that, life loss does keep track of individual sources like damage does, with the one exception being life gaining triggered abilities from creatures with lifelink.
