Big Boy 4014 in the Feather River Canyon (Day 8) Portola, California to Roseville, California

The Big Boy 4014 has made it to the Feather River Canyon. Due to traffic, I could not get to some shots but here's the ones I got. A big thank you to Renorailfan for hanging out with me during the trip and giving me the footage for the loop after my camera died. I had a wonderful time chasing the train and will continue to chase it all the way to Sparks, Nevada. Day 8 is chasing the Big Boy through Portola - Roseville, California. Hopefully I'll get some good shots! Hope you enjoy this video!

I know how you feel. I'm just climbing out of some physical health issues that mentally put me in the dump. These kinds of videos kept my mind off it. Years ago I got invited to go with some retired railway workers in a old private Pullman from Salt Lake City to feather River. $350 . I could not get off work. So I traveled in my mind again for this video. I hope things work out for you.

Just watched this again, great footage and presentation! Hope you got your shot at the tunnel today near Colfax. We headed back to Auburn to find it, but there were too many cars backed up at the narrow street where it was stopped, we gave up and continued on to Nevada City.
