If you ever build a 350 set up for flat tappet but are using roller cam I’d like to see the set up and process of the cam button. Seems most have to be trimmed for correct clearance. Also which type you recommend. A nylon or metal with I think needle bearing. Thanks in advance, and great videos

I personally like the aluminum cam buttons. I've had a few roller thrust buttons come apart and the nylon buttons are ok for a flat tappet cam but not for controlling roller walk out . I've actually seen a few melt lol. I just did a video on a thrust button setup, I'll edit it and post it as soon as I can. Thanks for the comment and suggestion!

Can't you bolt the head down without the gasket then add the compressed height later?

I thought I said that in the video, I may not have but yes that's normally how I do it. The reason I used the gasket on this engine is because the pistons come out of the hole .005 .
