My review of a Malaysian Bidor Parang (s71.co/3lUQZZz ), with handle upgrade done by MyParang.com. 5160 Steel, 12 inch blade length. Here is the factory where these are made: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aJ5nypZ7gtWziKw.html. Much like the Thai E-nep, Filipino Barong, and Nepali Kukri, these blades are extremely strong, I recommend them for rough wilderness and survival tasks. Enjoy the big steel! :]

I wonder if you ground a small portion of the blade super sharp near the handle where you never make contact with the chop sharp enough to do some slicing style tasks for when you don’t have a knife handy but want to cut like weed whip line or an apple or whatever I could see this replacing 3 tools in a pinch

@@SilverGoldVideos Kukri : thicker and heavier gives it an excellent chopping power, but the weight will drain your energy and stamina faster. Suitable for normal camping where energy and stamina conservation is not an issue (you bring your own food supply, fire starter kit, not many crafting etc) Parang/golok : thinner and lighter, slightly inferior than kukri or axe in chopping power, but nimbler and easier to control, less strain and drain on your energy and stamina. Suitable for a survival type camping where energy and stamina conservation is your priority where you need to craft many things, hunt-skin-clean for food, etc. Both are fine for the typical camping tasks. It is only a matter of which one conserves your energy and stamina the most.

I would definitely go with this parang, and get a cheap Kydex or even save for a decent sheath for it, it’s worth every penny!! Think I’m about to order the “heavy” version of this Parang, I’ve had a plastic handle Bidor for over 10 yrs now and it’s just amazing how it chops, idk what it is that parang forward angle and rat tang just does it better than everything(choppers/machetes) else in my lineup it feels!! Love choking up for fine carving on the thinner part of the parang, feels great almost just like a smaller 4inch or so fixed blade, it just does it all, And the convex grind😍 Carrying the Bidor parang with a silky saw is my perfect combo, and both together are STILL lighter to carry than an axe! Of course I always still got my old case stockman or sak in my pocket, and BRK Gunny LT on my hip! But if I had to pick ONE cutting tool I could carry, I think I could get by with just a parang!

This IS the END of the world. We are at the final years, after this chaos, when the one world leader appears, as a "savior" of humanity, then it's only 7 years left, fro mthe day that one appears. You all know his name, as you all should have known, where the chaos that the world is going through, come from, and what's the purpose of all these. Jesus proved for one more. We have seen all the signs, He told as, that we will see, before His coming, all except the false prophete, which is either already here, or will appear in the near future. That's not an opinion, that's facts. God bless you all!
