This video is even more daunting after the first 2024 debate. The funny thing is, Joe Biden is 66 in this video. Literally a retirement age man, and it was 16 years ago. The man is old and sadly, in massive decline.

You know as unqualified as Sarah Palin was to be on the ticket, this debate was much more productive and professional than debates that have followed.

Doesn't interrupt Palin at all being a woman, in 2012 interrupts Ryan non-stop. PERFECT strategy employed for each opponent. I wonder if that was from his debate team or just from experience in politics.

What I think is very interesting about this... Biden is a lot more coherent here, but you can notice the same sort of verbal crutches, they're just less obvious. Using "...Number 1. Number 2..." a lot, sticking "in fact" in as filler to give him time to get a sentence together, shifting the direction of a sentence midway through. Its become more apparent recently, but it was always there.

She just repeats the same talking points over and over again. This debate was actually more of a disaster than I remembered

I too wanted to see if Biden ever could string together a coherent thought. As someone who cares for an Alzheimer's patient (my grandmother) it's sad to see how bad his dementia is.

The only thing I like about Palin is the way she looks. Her voice and accent is like fingernails on a blackboard
