Democrats need to understand that it has to be possible to acknowledge that Biden is infinitely better than Trump without ignoring that people have a right to be considered about Biden for the next four years. Joe Scarborough on Morning Joe said it best: most Americans do not Trump reelected as President of the United States, but Democrats need to take the time to figure who the best choice to go up against Trump is without forcing people to vote for Trump by default. Let's remember that Trump lied and, at some points, gaslit the American people. And, as a Republican, Trump needs to step as much as (if not more than) Joe Biden maybe should. However, albeit a farce one, GOP voters had the chance to select someone else as the Republican nominee besides Donald Trump. While I do not believe the majority of young voters will voter for Trump over Biden, let's understand that there are some issues that young voters care about that they feel Joe Biden is lacking at.

If we don't have Biden as the candidate for the Democratic party, doesn't that mean that a bunch of politicians are going to pick for themselves who the nominee will be, overriding all of our primary votes? I voted for Biden in the primary and I don't want my vote to be overridden just because politicians are trying to predict the future of the election. I would be extremely angry that my vote was just thrown out and I think that would lose a lot of votes for the Democratic party, since that would be very similar to how Trump wanted to steal votes in 2020. How many people attended his rally? How are the ratings for the speeches? Night and Day.

How about this? Biden could agree to take some college level exams on history and government. He could then challenge crump to do the same. Two advantages. One, this would show how much smarter he is and put the cognition issue to bed. Two, if crump chickened out, that would be all the better.

Our Democratic politicians MUST stop asking Biden to step down. The voters chose him; I chose him and I'm not voting for another candidate unless Joe Biden himself decides to step down. Democrats need to do the one thing Republicans do way better than us: gather around and NEVER publicly disparage their candidate!
