Johnson was going to lose badly. That's most of the reason he stepped down. The problem with '68 is the democratic establishment made a terrible move in selecting the incumbent VP, Hubert Humphrey, an uninspiring candidate, instead of flipping the script. In the case of Harris the Republicans will continue to attack her on open borders and inflation. A new team of president and vice president would neutralize that argument. Republicans play politics soooo much better than Democrats. Democrats need to show a UNITED FRONT. They can have behind closed door meetings to discuss strategy but it’s ridiculous for a Democratic representative to go on the news and state that the Democratic nominee should step down.

Kimberly is like a walking talking point. And the reason we're here in the first place. There is no convincing people like her to even entertain the thought of going against the status quo. We're forked in November.

You are right Kim, but Donald Trump is not the current President, Joe Biden is. He has to be strong, and vigorous and can call out lies and stand up to Trump. He could not do that on the debate stage last week. I hate Donald Trump, but Joe Biden could not speak on that stage. That is a serious problem.
