I was so hoping that Biden would do the honourable thing, be a one-term president who saved the country, and then open up the Primary to younger Democrats. I was disappointed by his decision… but now I’m horrified. Especially with the right-wing Supreme Court’s recent ruling on ‘Presidential Powers’!

I voted for Biden in 2020 thinking he would be a one-term, transitional President despite my reservations about his age back then. It's now become somewhat of a real dilemma for me with his re-election in 2024. In the end, I think Trump will help secure Biden's election win in 2024 just like he probably did in 2020.

I have been saying for a year that Biden was senile. Thanks Cenk, for being one of the truth tellers. I have been a loyal D for years, and have never been so disappointed in those who have protected the President from the public. Perhaps now we can have a successful Democratic candidate nominated in an open convention.

The Democratic party could show class. Create a supporting action for Biden's resignment thank him for his career, etc. Make it a media phenomenon, give a thank you and circle wagons. Choose a new candidate and sell the change with style, not just a repeat of LBJ in 1968....
