The way it’s being done by many… it is absolutely anti-semitic. The anger. The tone. The irrational hate. The “from the river to the sea”… demonic and pure evil. It seems most Palestinians are pro Hamas. My view of Palestinians… forever changed. I hope to see better from all involved. But pretending the hate isn’t anti-semitism is wrong.

They are all war crimes and many of the same people, and people like them, who protested against Iraq and Afghanistan are the same ones protesting against Israel today. And like the protesters then, the ones today will be judged to be on the right side of history.

The term "antisemitism" has lost all meaning. I've got beef with the government of Benjamin Netanyahu. Pointing out that he's a war criminal and should be tried as such when he bombs hospitals and murders children isn't a hate crime. Pointing out that he's enforced an apartheid state and extended the cycle of violence at every opportunity for as long as he's been in power isn't either. For the past eight years, we've had literal neo-nazis running around chanting 'Jews will not replace us", why do we only hear about antisemitism when Netanyahu is doing yet another war crime?

@@Hexxusss I'm convinced most people have no idea what it is. I've asked, repeatedly, how exactly Israel is committing genocide to no avail. In fact, almost no historians say they're committing genocide - they may make the argument that they've committed ethnic cleansing and even apartheid, but not genocide. Even the ICJ judges said there is not substantial evidence of genocide as far as I can find.

@@tiannasicilia4214 - lol. Either you're not as smart as you think you are, or you're going out of your way to be a douchebag. Genocide isn't a terribly complicated term. You can put a lot of words together, but it's in its simplest form it is the systemic effort to eradicate a given group. A soft genocide is simply genocide on a smaller scale. In this case, regional, as opposed to international. I should note that genocide on any scale is horrific. Isreal is executing a targeted campaign of killing Palestinians in mass. Killing their men. Killing their women. Killing their babies. Destroying their infrastructure. Bringing their schools to the ground. Brjngjng terror indiscriminately. I didn't say it was a genocide. I implied it was an effort at genocide. Unchecked, small transgressions against humanity grow like cancer. People who make excuses to turn their backs on the plight of the Palestinian people are typically either blinded by bigotry and racism or simply ignorant.

It isn't "soft genocide". What the Zionist Israeli Regime has been doing in the State of Palestine fits the UN's definition of genocide. - ""Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide Approved and proposed for signature and ratification or accession by General Assembly resolution 260 A (III) of 9 December 1948 ... Article I The Contracting Parties confirm that genocide, whether committed in time of peace or in time of war, is a crime under international law which they undertake to prevent and to punish. Article II In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such: (a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; ..." - UN website - "While the United States is now an international leader in the fight against genocide and human rights abuses, it only recently ratified the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide ... Despite the public support for the United Nations and human rights by the United States, failure to ratify the Genocide Convention stemmed primarily from the fear that international covenants were threats to U.S. sovereignty. The United States finally overcame this fear with the ratification of the Genocide Convention in 1988, which opened the door for U.S. leadership." - cambridge website - ...and it was that same year that the State of Palestine was founded - 1988. It is recognized as a country by over 70% of the countries in the UN. The US uses its veto power to block the vote for the State of Palestine to be accepted as a full member of the UN. - "The UN Security Council has begun reconsidering the Palestinian request to become a full member of the global body after a hiatus of 13 years. The request was initially submitted in September 2011 but talks stalled as the United States, which holds veto power and backs Israel, protested. ..Malta's UN Ambassador Vanessa Frazier, who is the Security Council president for April, told reporters after a closed-door meeting on Monday that talks will be held this month. US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield said Washington's position remains unchanged. To acquire full membership, the five permanent members of the Security Council must refrain from using their veto and at least nine members must vote in favor. If the application passes, two-thirds or more of the general assembly must then vote to approve the move. The differences between the United States and Arab countries are expected to deepen over this debate." - NHK 4/9/2024 - ... and the US has obligations to the UN under the Genocide Convention... - "States' obligations under the Genocide Convention Obligation not to commit genocide (Article I as interpreted by the ICJ) Obligation to prevent genocide (Article I) which, according to the ICJ, has an extraterritorial scope; Obligation to punish genocide (Article I); …" - UN website

"...In 638, Palestine came under Muslim rule with the Muslim conquest of the Levant. One estimate placed the Jewish population of Palestine at between 300,000 and 400,000 at the time. However, this is contrary to other estimates which place it at 150,000 to 200,000 at the time of the revolt against Heraclius. According to historian Moshe Gil, the majority of the population was Jewish or Samaritan. The land gradually came to have an Arab majority as Arab tribes migrated there. Jewish communities initially grew and flourished. Umar allowed and encouraged Jews to settle in Jerusalem. It was the first time in about 500 years that Jews were allowed to freely enter and worship in their holiest city. In 717, new restrictions were imposed against non-Muslims that negatively affected the Jews. Heavy taxes on agricultural land forced many Jews to migrate from rural areas to towns. Social and economic discrimination caused significant Jewish emigration from Palestine, and Muslim civil wars in the 8th and 9th centuries pushed many Jews out of the country. By the end of the 11th century the Jewish population of Palestine had declined substantially. During the First Crusade, Jews in Palestine, along with Muslims, were indiscriminately massacred and sold into slavery by the Crusaders. The majority of Jerusalem's Jewish population was killed during the Crusader Siege of Jerusalem and the few thousand survivors were sold into slavery. Some of the Jews sold into slavery later had their freedom bought by Jewish communities in Italy and Egypt, and the redeemed slaves were taken to Egypt. Some Jewish prisoners of war were also deported to Apulia in southern Italy... ...The Mamluks [13th-16th centuries] severely oppressed the Jews and greatly mismanaged the economy, resulting in a period of great social and economic decline. The result was large-scale migration from Palestine, and the population declined. The Jewish population shrunk especially heavily, as did the Christian population. Though some Jewish immigration from Europe, North Africa, and Syria also occurred in this period, which potentially saved the collapsing Jewish community of Palestine from disappearing altogether, Jews were reduced to an even smaller minority of the population..." - wikipedia website "Jewish diaspora" - Note: At no point in the above information are Jewish people "driven out" of Palestine. They leave due to economic reasons. Basically, they wanted to avoid paying taxes. The Jews that left Palestine were not forced out. Also while, some Jewish people were leaving Palestine, others were immigrating to Palestine. - "...Modern Israel has its origins in the Zionism movement, established in the late 19th century by Jews in the Russian Empire who called for the establishment of a territorial Jewish state after enduring persecution. In 1896, Jewish-Austrian journalist Theodor Herzl published an influential political pamphlet called The Jewish State, which argued that the establishment of a Jewish state was the only way of protecting Jews from anti-Semitism. Herzl became the leader of Zionism, convening the first Zionist Congress in Switzerland in 1897. Ottoman-controlled Palestine, the original home of the Jews, was chosen as the most desirable location for a Jewish state, and Herzl unsuccessfully petitioned the Ottoman government for a charter. After the failed Russian Revolution of 1905, growing numbers of Eastern European and Russian Jews began to immigrate to Palestine, joining the few thousand Jews who had arrived earlier. The Jewish settlers insisted on the use of Hebrew as their spoken language. With the collapse of the Ottoman Empire during World War I, Britain took over Palestine. In 1917, Britain issued the “Balfour Declaration,” which declared its intent to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Although protested by the Arab states, the Balfour Declaration was included in the British mandate over Palestine, which was authorized by the League of Nations in 1922. Because of Arab opposition to the establishment of any Jewish state in Palestine, British rule continued throughout the 1920s and ’30s. Beginning in 1929, Arabs and Jews openly fought in Palestine, and Britain attempted to limit Jewish immigration as a means of appeasing the Arabs..." - history website - "Jewish emigration to historic Palestine grew over the first decades of the 20th century, especially during the 1930s. As the Jewish population in Palestine increased, the indigenous Arab population put pressure on the British government to control the immigration. Thus, in the 1920s, the British restricted Jewish immigration by fixing quotas and authorizing certain Jewish organizations to distribute immigration certificates as they saw fit. Nevertheless, with increased persecution of Jews in Europe, many Jews were not willing to wait years for immigration certificates. Thus, in 1934, the Vallos became the first chartered immigration ship to arrive in Palestine, carrying 350 Jews. By the time WWII had begun, tens of thousands of Jewish immigrants had arrived illegally in Palestine by ship. This illegal shipping of immigrants continued well into the 1940s. While the British intercepted some of the ships, almost all of the immigrants were eventually able to settle in Palestine. The Jewish community found other ways to emigrate to Palestine, exploiting loopholes in the Mandatory government’s immigration regulations. Students were not required to have immigration certificates to study in Palestine, so many enrolled at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and then remained in the country. Young women entered the country claiming fictitious marriages to Palestinian residents. Others arrived as tourists, and never returned to their former countries. In 1935 alone, almost 5,000 Jews entered the county illegally through these various means. In 1939, concerned with the rising tensions in Palestine due to the massive Jewish immigration - both legal and illegal - the British government issued Parliamentary Document 6019 (a.k.a the White Paper of 1939), slated to limit the Jewish population in Palestine to no more than one third the total. If economic capacity permitted, 75,000 Jews would be allowed to come to Palestine, after which “no further Jewish immigration will be permitted unless the Arabs are prepared to acquiesce to it.”" - CJPME website 6/2022 - Zionist came from other countries to drive Palestinians off of the land that their Palestinian ancestors had lived on for over two thousand years. The Zionists were racists that decided that they would form a country based on racism.

Jewish groups employed terrorism against British forces in Palestine, which they thought had betrayed the Zionist cause. At the end of World War II, in 1945, the United States took up the Zionist cause. Britain, unable to find a practical solution, referred the problem to the United Nations, which in November 1947 voted to partition Palestine. The Jews were to possess more than half of Palestine, although they made up less than half of Palestine’s population. The Palestinian Arabs, aided by volunteers from other countries, fought the Zionist forces, but by May 14, 1948, the Jews had secured full control of their U.N.-allocated share of Palestine and also some Arab territory...." history dot com - "...After World War II, in 1947, the United Nations (UN) adopted a Partition Plan for Mandatory Palestine, which recommended the creation of independent Arab and Jewish states and an internationalized Jerusalem.[30] Immediately after the United Nations General Assembly adopted the plan as Resolution 181, a civil war broke out in Palestine,[31] and the plan was not implemented..." - wiki - "...The 1947 UN Partition Plan triggered a civil war between the two groups, which saw the expulsion and flight of most of Palestine's predominantly Arab population. Israel declared its establishment on 14 May 1948, the day the British terminated the Mandate. On 15 May 1948, the armies of five neighboring Arab states invaded the area of the former Mandatory Palestine, starting the First Arab-Israeli War. The 1949 Armistice Agreements saw Israel's borders established over most of the former Mandate territory, while the rest, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, were ruled by Jordan and Egypt respectively... ...British Mandate for Palestine... ...On 22 July 1946, Irgun bombed the British administrative headquarters for Palestine, killing 91. The attack initially had the approval of the Haganah. It was conceived as a response to Operation Agatha (a series of raids, including one on the Jewish Agency, by the British) and was the deadliest directed at the British during the Mandate era.The Jewish insurgency continued throughout 1946 and 1947 despite concerted efforts by the British military and Palestine Police Force to suppress it. British efforts to mediate a negotiated solution with Jewish and Arab representatives also failed as the Jews were unwilling to accept any solution that did not involve a Jewish state and suggested a partition of Palestine into Jewish and Arab states, while the Arabs were adamant that a Jewish state in any part of Palestine was unacceptable and that the only solution was a unified Palestine under Arab rule. In February 1947, the British referred the Palestine issue to the newly formed United Nations. On 15 May 1947, the UN General Assembly resolved that a Special Committee be created "to prepare ... a report on the question of Palestine."The Report of the Committee proposed a plan to replace the British Mandate with "an independent Arab State, an independent Jewish State, and the City of Jerusalem [...] the last to be under an International Trusteeship System." Meanwhile, the Jewish insurgency continued and peaked in July 1947, with a series of widespread guerrilla raids culminating in the Sergeants affair, in which the Irgun took two British sergeants hostage as attempted leverage against the planned execution of three Irgun operatives. After the executions were carried out, the Irgun killed the two British soldiers, hanged their bodies from trees, and left a booby trap at the scene which injured a British soldier. The incident caused widespread outrage in the UK. In September 1947, the British cabinet decided to evacuate Palestine as the Mandate was no longer tenable...." - wiki - The Israeli Zionists are still racist today. - "Israel’s systematic dispossession of Palestinians is ongoing today, both in the occupied territories and inside Israel’s internationally recognized pre-1967 borders, where Palestinian citizens of the state and those living under occupation continue to be pushed out of their homes and off their lands - including entire towns - to make way for Jewish citizens and settlers. Today, there are approximately 650,000 Jewish settlers living illegally on occupied Palestinian land in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and Israel’s settlement enterprise covers approximately 42% of the West Bank." - imeu website 10/2015 - "The Security Council reaffirmed this afternoon that Israel’s establishment of settlements in Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, had no legal validity, constituting a flagrant violation under international law and a major obstacle to the vision of two States living side-by-side in peace and security, within internationally recognized borders. Adopting resolution 2334 (2016) by 14 votes, with the United States abstaining, the Council reiterated its demand that Israel immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem. It underlined that it would not recognize any changes to the 4 June 1967 lines, including with regard to Jerusalem, other than those agreed by the two sides through negotiations." - un website 12/2016 - "...On 15 November 1988 in Algiers, Yasser Arafat, as Chairman of the PLO, issued the Palestinian Declaration of Independence, which established the State of Palestine. Well I'd love to see Kirby stop saying things like "There is absolutely no evidence of genocide" before going on to mischaracterise what genocide is with a laugh on MSNBC. I'd love it if he wouldn't claim that the State Department has looked into it very carefully and hasn't found that Israel has violated international humanitarian law. You know, evidence of genocide has been considered by the ICJ, the special rapporteur and others. So 'no evidence' is just a lie. And as regards international humanitarian law, there are situations where Israel would have to prove, that is to say the burden of proof is on them to demonstrate that protected sites had lost their protection, something they have not done. So prima facie they have violated IHL. But of course the US Government consistently lies about the situation while claiming moral authority. That's just normal at this point.

What are you talking about? Israel gives warning before strikes so civilians can evacuate. That's a heck of a lot more than hamas offered its victims. It's not Israel's fault if hamas chooses to keep civilians in harms way for propaganda.

You know what Biden is saying is direct attacks on Democrats and independents that support Palestine and/or are against Israel's war crimes and acts of genocide, correct? He tries to make it look like that is not the case on some levels, but that is who he is attacking. Those of us being attacked and ignored know full well what he is doing. He is complicit in war crimes, torture, land stealing, and acts of genocide. His government continues to block the vote at the UN for full recognition of the State of Palestine as a country at the UN with its veto power. Over 70% of the countries at the UN recognize the State of Palestine as a country. If the US didn't veto that vote, the State of Palestine would have been a member of the UN decades ago. The State of Palestine has been a country since 1988. Since 2012, it has had a status of a non-member observer state in the United Nations. - But about Trump... Trump has proven he is a racist as well. He sides with White Supremacists, Neo-Nazis, and White Christian Nationalist. Is he a full member of any Neo-Nazi group? Only if they would pay him to be their leader because he is only out for himself.

I’m sorry but Israel have done too much in these past 7 months for me to have any sympathy toward them as a nation. My heart still goes out to the victims and their families but Israel don’t get to use October 7 as an excuse for their cruelty toward the Palestinians before and after October 7

You have people denying their behaviour is antisemitic and dressing it up as criticism of Israel because they don’t know the history of WW2 If they learned the details then they would see the similarities. 1930’s began with genuine concern and criticism that turned into concentration camps and gas chambers. It always starts off with “genuine criticism” it then leads to the things we have seen on our tv screens. The banners, the chants, the slurs etc after this it goes further if not stopped. My advice to you people, learn about the 1930’s German regime, how it began, their speech and their behaviour

Are the attacks downplayed? Everyone I see condemns the horrors of Oct 7th. Saying those horrors isn't a justification for using hunger as a weapon against a city of mostly children, is not downplaying October 7th. It's saying evil acts don't justify evil acts. It's really weird to have to stress this.

I think you miss the point. The Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Eastern Jerusalem are part of the State of Palestine. They are not part of the State of Israel. Israel needs to get its sanky Zionist butt out of the State of Palestine. It underlined that it would not recognize any changes to the 4 June 1967 lines, including with regard to Jerusalem, other than those agreed by the two sides through negotiations." - un website 12/2016 - "Hamas said the attack was retribution for what it described as attacks on women, the desecration of the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem and the ongoing siege of Gaza." - CNN 10/11/23 - "Hamas has said it was motivated to launch the attack essentially as the culmination of long-building anger over Israeli policy, including recent outbreaks of violence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, but more generally over the treatment of Palestinians and the expansion of Israeli settlements." - CBS News 10/25/2023 - The Zionist Israeli Regime's behavior is what prompted the attack on Oct 7th!
