I would. Just remember it's old.

The beginning song was kind of cool and very fitting for the project. I had a bike with the same or a similar Campy Mirage Groupset and it performed magically. It brings back memories. That bike is not garbage after all your hard work and TLC. It turned out beautifully.

Thanks, she's a beauty ! My husband always looks in trash for orphan bikes, frames, parts. Several nice bikes have restored. Found one older Raligh on a burn pile in Denmark. Of course it followed us back to california !

Finally someone that ACTUALLY does a bike restoration because it's all about bringing it back to it's original condition. If you replace every part and put disk brakes on it, it's not a restoration. Great video!

That's a real bike reincarnation ! Did something similar with my old Tommasini 12 speed that was lying in my shed - but had to get a lot of new old stock parts for it - you needed to replace so little- well done !

All that early 90s goodness! The new, fancy stuff like integrated shifters and aero frame, but the bike is still glistening at you with a ton of stainless and chrome and those beautiful toe clip pedals. Nothing of that newfangled clipless stuff. I really love the road bikes from that era.

Cuadro de aluminio y Campagnolo Mirage con mandos Ergopower?? En su día era un maquinón que seguro le costó a su dueño bastante más de 100.000 pts. Hay que ser muy merluzo o muy inculto en el tema bicis para tirar semejante joya!!! La restauración de quitarse el sombrero!! Lowkey that's a badass bike!

Bought an old bike like that that this dude just stored on the side of his garage. Rain, dust, dry rotted tires. Brand was Miyata. Didn’t keep original components. Maybe should’ve. Oh, did keep the crazy oval chain rings. Paid $100. Been riding it for 20 years now. Thousands of miles. Never very fast. But we went. Any way now working on a Bennato. Has all original parts. I’ve taken it as far as my limited skills will take it. Will have to have the pros finish it off. It’s been fun.

Supernice job, i do restorations like this myself for a lifetime hobbie, Most of the bikes i Keep because of the buy- and-throw filosophy today. Im impressed that you manage to find a old bike that didnt have all the bits stuck, like the seatpost, crankcase and pedals Always is rusted so they stuck.

Luckily for me this bike seems to have been in a garage for a long time picking up dust, if I had to take care cleaning in the internal areas, since an orange powder came out of oxidation. It is good that you didn't paint it , like most people do . The original color is always more durable .Some people paint the whole bike just because it has a few scratches.. Very good restoration , you did a great job !

I recently finish resurrecting my brother's abandoned bike after neglected for years getting rain and heat at his backyard. At first I want to replace most of its components, but after begin the work I decided to preserve all that I can and ended up just replacing tires (since it was all cracked up badly due to the heat), and the shifter's inner cable (since it was completely stuck due to the corrosion and dust). And after a week of hardwork, she lives again and happily cruising down the road.... 😁
