I saw this when it first came out and thought it was sad but today I actually read the newspaper article on the wall. It's even sadder. Bibo is very smart and very lonely. Because of the war, all he has are his memories of the children and his job. 😭

He's "highly functional in a structured environment".

It so greatly depicts the human condition of how we hold onto the past so much that we are able to look past the the destruction and the desolation and suffering and keep trying to relive what once was but will never be again it’s sad but also very thought provoking imo I know people take different things from it but to me this video was very powerful good job

So poignant, the robot fulfils his programming but the children are gone.

Way too many American Mainstreets are becoming like this. So- called "Progress" has essentially dissolved a lot of communities unfortunately.

Yes very true. And think back around 100 years ago, we spent Millions building roads to link all these towns together and now we spend Millions to not have to drive through the same towns that we previously connected. How messed up is that...

This is true. You can literally watch the small businesses die off in a matter of months after, for example, a walmart moves into the area.

I’ve been watching several of these short animations lately, & none of them seem to end on any way satisfying or in a sensible manner… is that The trend in new literature; to just end abruptly ?
