i loved the masters dialogs the game forces you to actually read the holodisk with sterile mutants or else the masters dialogue fools you into believing its false you, the player actually need to KNOW this and not just your character with a "speech 100" option

To be fair it wasn't the fact that it was an FPS that made it loose its flavor with fallout 3 it was just the shitty writing at Bethesda. You can tell when you play New Vegas and some of the OG writers etc are involved and its not Bethesda.

It is cool as an FPS, I wanted to play first perspective since 1997. What wasn't cool is how stupid the writting of Fallout 3 is. I mean, all charaters are written like senseless evil or so good they are stupid cartoons

Turning it into a fps was natural. Being an fps isn't why it lacked. It lacks because they have cut out things like this. The rpg mechanics
