Reminds me of Larry McReynolds talking about how RCR 3 team got the back up 28 out and prepped for inspection after Ernie Irvan crashed at Michigan.

Two years ago when it rained the parking wasn't fun either. "Just" wet and slippery but still...

There is drains. It was the hardest rain I've ever seen and it didn't stop for well over a hour.Alot of damage all around the track, including power out for miles around.

Yeah, it doesn't matter how efficient of a drainage system you have. Rain like that is going to overwhelm it very easily and there's not a whole lot that can be done about it.

Overreacting at its best. Slow moving thunderstorms will do this. They have drains just like in cities too much rain short period of time equals flooding. Was at a dirt track and this happened had a foot of water in parking lot. Calm yourself little man mother nature can b a b

My son is Christian Eckes’s engineer and the videos he sent me were insane. Soaked to the core, scrambling to get equipment to safety, but having a good laugh at the whole situation too.

Speaking of rain there’s a great chance the Indy 500 can rain out. The weather next Sunday doesn’t look good right now.

I love your rant. It was hilarious. Another topic. I live in Cali. I hear all these people crying in the south that the Championship is back at Phoenix in 2025. Get over it Its the same 15 or so people that call channel 90 every day.

They literally paved everything there so now the entire surface is impervious.

Valid point, he's a big points race only guy. No one told him about the IndyCar race at thermal unfortunately

People forget that since this is basically a home race for the teams SHR team literally got to drive home and spend a day with family or at the shop getting 600 cars ready. In this case they weren’t in hotels and with nothing else to do besides go to track like usual

when god tells the world and america nascar is a waste of oxygen and that money would have been better spent on an ark

Both. LA got DRENCHED FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT as soon as the Mexico race was over, and now North Wilkesboro is given the same treatment
