However, Christ was NOT talking about Peter. We can see further that our gospel was never built on him either... "Rock" meant "Revelation". The revelation Peter had of Him - (...flesh and blood hath not revealed this to you, but my Father...) Jesus was talking about the Revelation of Himself as the Son of the Living God. 🙏🏾

I guess because one of my names is Michael, it should come as no secret nor surprise that I often feel the need to defend the innocent and the weak (those that cannot defend themselves). I was raised Christian and went to private Christian schools but my questions went unanswered. I moved and lived in an Islamic country and learned so much and was very surprised to learn Islam has all the stories from the Bible only so much more about the story and from beginning to end. It's as if the Bible is a book in the Quran and the Quran is complete.i was shocked when I discovered my future Muslim husband knew more about Jesus then I did.

At the time of Mohammed, (about 600 years after the death and resurrection of Christ), Gnosticism was very popular in his area (along with paganism). They (gnostics) were a heretical branch off the original Christian faith. Many of the stories told in the quran come from heretical gospels (such as the gospel of barnabas) that were proven to be forgeries made in the 15-16th century AD. Much of what the quran claims about Christ is un-Biblical and proven to be either untrue or directly borrowed from the actual Gospels. It's actually a very interesting topic to look into, and I highly recommend checking it out. God bless 😊

The bible is not about telling stories and that it just sums up the announcement and prophecy of Jesus (old testament) and then the life and teachings of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Not fairy tales book where prophets ride on carpets and that

Saying another name that isn't our creator is not praising God. Jesus is the only God, and the Father created the universe through His Son Jesus, becuaee Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father's throne, and the Father gave Jesus' name a name higher than the angels even, and just worshipping Jesus and following Him like you see Him as your shepard you are praising God by walking in His will while praising Him to stay in His Spirit.
