I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate the "Journaling Mistakes, Pros and Cons" portion of this video. The struggle for perfection is real, oppressive, and exhausting. I watched that part of your video on repeat just to get it in my head that it is okay to mess up and keep moving forward instead of quitting or throwing away and re-buying so I can start over. I'm ready for this stronghold to crumble and I thank you for sharing your experience, honesty, and what you have learned through making "mistakes"

Jen, I praise God in advance for full deliverance from perfectionism . We serve a PERFECT God so that we don't have to strive to be what only He can. Letting go is an act of worship and trust in Him. Whew, I know soooooo well that the struggle is REAL 😫🥴, but God is able to heal us. Perfectionism is an extension of control. Control is a form of fear and we know that fear is straight from hell. So we cast it down in the name of Jesus. We declare peace over perfectionism. In the name of Jesus! I'm so grateful that you took the time to share transparently. Glory to God that that portion resonated with you. It continues to help me as I continue to "make mistakes". Cheering you on, sis!

Yes, we’re in the same space re: elevating quiet time in general. I’m happy with the structure I have to study…but the intimacy is lacking. Bible Journaling seems to be the solution 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Sis I do audio along with reading too for the VERY SAME REASONS. I am a slower reader because I soak up everything and it keeps this wandering brain on POINT

I'm team hobby lobby. do it! You'll love it. If you don't I'll be suprised....well i guess it'll depend on what you're going in for. I love them most for their home decor items, holiday decor, and craft sets for my kids. They have great sales as well.

come on writing a bible study!!! congrats sis! i love these videos when you walk us through exactly how you study the bible. and okay with the read along audio. i didnt even know this was a thing, come on teach me! also love the angles! come on that old pink bible been through some thangs. my sis be using her bible. ive been using my bible app for years but i low key miss holding an actual bible. i may get one this year for real! thanks for this encouragement sis. loved the video. this was true teaching

Bible journaling helps me before I write any message or beefore doing a speaking engagement. Did I have coming up. Now I have to go to the store to get more pens, highlighters and stickers.😅

And interesting re: it helps when preparing to speak🤔. never would've thought of that, but it makes sense. for me, it's proving to be most useful for meditating on the scripture. Lord knows I need to do more of that.

@Yasmine_WilliamsWoods Thank you and yes! I study 2-4 chapters for context and write out my messages using any verses God lead me to add to my message from the chapters he has given me to study. In the mist of that I will find scriptures related to other messages I plan or write in the future. In that case I end up with more than enough scriptures to discuss/educate on, overall its a beautiful process. Amen we all need more of him 🙌🏾

🤯 Friend. Bestie. In nearly 4 years of friendship, I've never once been taken aback by your actions or words. This one might be offensive though🥴😲🤦🏽‍♀️. MICHAELS?! Oh em gee oh em gee. I feel such betrayal 😂😂😂😂. Jk jk. However, i was shocked for sure. Even Bailey said Michaels. She's however an artist. I'm more of a crafter. I put things together as opposed to creating them. Michaels is for the creators. Hobby Lobby is for the crafters is the way I see it. And their home decor GIVES. Back to the point though, ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ how sweet of a story and memory. For that, Michaels at least now has my respect.

I sometimes wish I knew how to be an amazon girlie...i mean we clearly shop Amazon but Shun is better at finding things than me. OH and my girls.
