    Sharpie Brand gel-pens have changed the way I have taken notes. Not all colors are created equal, but the black and blue .7mm have been my pen of choice for the past 2 years. They are bold, vibrant, rarely skip with a properly angled hand, use 95-100% of ink per pen, fit well in a standard shirt pocket, and NEVER smear on standard grade paper within 1-2 seconds. Waxier paper types vary. As a lefty, my hand has a testimony about this! They make these in .5mm as well, but I could not recommend this pen more for beautiful notes outside of your bible.

    I remember having to memorize the books of the Bible along with the Lord's Prayer, the Golden Rule, John 3:16 and the 23rd Psalm in school! Yes, we were taught these invaluable things in public school in the 1960s and 1970s. And attending church all my life, helped too. I love studying the Bible.

    I used to take more notes, then I got a new bible and my perfectionist mindset doesn’t want to “mess it up”! I got issues, lol! But I love the idea of bible journaling! So right now I use a notebook to write down favorite verses and I try to get creative with that! Thank you for sharing your tips!!

    Okay girl you are adorable!!! I SO understand the crazy ADHD brain!! Lol. Even though I teach ladies to study the Bible and I have a color coding system, I found my self here, wanting to know how others do it. I love how you cross referenced your notes! My adhd brain however, could never do that. Or maybe it's because I'm five kiddos ahead of you and a few decades, so my brain is just warn out. Lol. Either way, you are adorable and I can so relate with the brain chaos 🙂 Blessings!!

    Pentel EnerGel 0.3 is THE BEST black pen of all time! It's suuuuuuper fine, doesn't skip, doesn't smudge with Mildliners, dries FAST.... I bought a 3-pack and fell in love. AND... they are refillable.... AND... the refills are affordable. Try them! I'm married to my EnerGel 0.3 and even the 0.5. The 0.7 is a little TOO thick for me.

  • @rachelgrit

    @rachelgrit

    3 жыл бұрын

    Absolutely! I learned to drive and took my test in the winter time too - if I can do it, you can too!! I'd recommend finding something to listen to that helps you focus and cuts away everything from your mind so you can focus on the road. Whether that's silence, an audio book, classical music (for me it was screamo LOL) ... that's probably my biggest tip! Other tips would be to never eat while you're driving, take a moment to get yourself situated before you drive (for example my lips get dry a LOT so I like to make sure lip balm is easily accessible so I don't have to dig around for it), and check in with yourself every once in a while to make sure you're paying proper attention. You've got this!!!

    The problem with the frixion pens and highlighters is that bcuz they r erasable they r not archival so four months from now the writing has almost completely faded away and if u leave what u wrote on in ur car on a hot summer day the heat will make it all completely disappear. It happened to me. Micron pens r excellent. They don't bleed or fade or smear when highlighted. They r archival. U can get them from Amazon or Walmart in the adult artist section.

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yes, absolutely! I will say, though, at a certain point, there’s only so much you can do. I don’t think this is a direct allegory for all parenting situations. The priest was also basically their boss! He was allowing them to not only act poorly as his sons, but as servants in the house of the Lord as well. I don’t think it’s okay for parents to try to control their adult children. Influence? Sure. But I believe the vast bulk of our instruction time as parents happens when our kiddos are little.
