The Bible said a circle not a sphere or globe. It also said that it sits on four pillars and that it has four corners. Also that the earth was fixed and can not be moved. It also says that the sun, moon and stars were created for light, seasons and navigation. It says that the the sky with its stars are stretch out as a tent over the sun moon and earth for us to inhabit. It says the sun rises from the end of the earth and circuits back to the other end. And, when Christ returns, the sky will be rolled back as a scroll. Now, in what way does this sound like the heliocentric model/theory?

100%, Thats what the word of God says. As many corrupted English translations came after the KJV, subtle changes here and there, changing words to take on a different meaning, ESV for example was released in 2001 and then revised 3 times after that in 2007,2011,2016. The NWT the Jehovah witness bible has omitted 26 verses altogether and inserted the word Jehovah 237 when it's only mentioned 4 times in the KJV. The bottom line is, Satan is subtle, as we as Christians already know, he will influence anything that will corrupt the word of God.

The video is wrong by saying that a sphere ( 3D ) is the same a a circle ( 2D ), not the same at all this is basic preschool. Circle 'chug' ( חוּג ) is not the same as a sphere, which is pronounced 'spera' ( כדור ). Isaiah 40.22 prophecy mentions a חוּג which is a circle.

whAckAttAck YYY i understand those are his and your assumptions, I looked at the horizon many times in open wide beaches and never saw a spherical form. If it was so, you could not see a building from Buenos Aires to Colonia through the Plata river for example. The earths supposed curve due to its supposed spherical form would cover those buildings.

So when saying it hangs on nothing, or hangs from nothing, it means there's nothing outside of earth. No galaxies, no infinite space, no planets, nothing. The Earth stands alone surrounded by nothing. Nothing is pulling it, nothing is keeping it afloat, it hangs on nothing. It is alone, it's not dependent on anything else.

The literal translation of the word Khug is actually Sphere. Thanks to our wonderfully flawed english.. it can also be translated to circle and compassed as well. Dispite its literal translation. Non the less this implies that both words are one in the same in hebrew.

When we say "sunrise" or "sunset" does it means the sun sets or rises ? No, it's poetry. We are tought, in school, to always put the text into its context. It seems though, athiests loose their ability to read a text in its context when it comes to the Bible. On that same note, a ball can be seen as flat when viewed from one side. The Earth has gravity, and that gravity is created by the spinning of the Earth. Also, the last time I checked, balls and circles are both round, so if something is said to be circular, it can also be round, and if something is round it can also be circular. If you were to look at a distant planet or our moon through a telescope, what would you see? You'd see a sphere hanging in space. If you have a powerful enough telescope, you could also view other planets such as Mars (also referred to as our sister planet due to it being similar to Earth). It's gravity may be lower than ours, but you would still see it spinning, just at a slower rate.

When Jesus was taken up high to the mountain by the Devil he could see all the Kingdoms because the earth is flat. The tower of Babel would've been seen by everyone if it had ever reached the heavens because the earth is flat. When all of the world flooded it did so because it is flat and surrounded by a dome. When Christ comes back everyone will see him when the heavens open because the earth is flat. There are many scriptures that support the flat earth theory. Genesis says that the moon is its own light. The sun does not shine on it like scientists make you believe. Why are rainbows shaped like an arc? Why are there so many subliminal messages in the media that secretly tell us that the world is flat? When you realize this truth everything in the bible makes so much more sense!

A circle is a shape in plane geometry. The Hebrew word used is H2329 - chuwg circle, circuit or compass or Vault of heaven. Just a few chapters ahead of Isaiah 40:22 is isaiah 22:18 where he used the word H1754 - duwr Which means ball or sphere. “He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.”

Flat disc meaning of circle how about upon the sitting on earth and what the meaning of tent?

All the top comments here say a circle is a circle. But no one is addressing the fact that in ancient Hebrew, you know the original language which the Old Testament was written in, "circle" and "sphere" mean the same thing. You guys are just accepting the English translations, probably don't even know how to study the Bible properly. You want to understand the truth? First cross-examine all the ancient and original languages.

While I believe the Bible wholeheartedly, AND I believe that the earth is a sphere, the Scripture passages above are not stated clearly enough to demonstrate definitively that Earth is a sphere. The word "circle" can mean "sphere," or it can mean flat. "Stretching out the North" does not conclusively express the idea of a spherical earth, either.

"The Earth hangeth on nothing" because it doesnt have verticle foundations, it has pillars below, and the tent reference in Isaiah 40:22 clearly states that the fermament acts like a tent, which we dwell under. How can a tent be placed on a sphere? Only on a flat plane can this work.

A circle is not a ball. A hoolahoop is a circle, a compass is a circle. The earth us flat, round like a circle, and covered by a vaulted dome. That's what the Bible teaches.

It means the earth will exist forever. Now if someone is sad, but when he/she listen to music and he/she is moved, then why they still standing there ? The otherwise for the earth, Psalm 104:5 "He set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be moved". ESV.

Circle and globe are different. The sky is stretch out like a tent. It means that a sky or heaven is covering the flat earth like a dome tent making ends around the edge of flat circle earth.

Isaiah 22:18 KJV The ISV version of isaiah 40:22 calls it a DISK. I don't read that one but that's for those who think isaiah is talking about a sphere.

So I'm reading many false statements here. Isaiah 22:17,18 uses the word 'ball.' "Behold, the LORD will hurl you away violently, O you strong man. He will seize firm hold on you and whirl you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a wide land. " Obviously there's a Hebrew word for 'ball, sphere, globe.' Look up the Hebrew; this word could be translated 'circle or ball.' It depends on the context of the passage, to decide which is the proper use. Throwing a circle doesn't make any sense at all, it has to be 'ball.' But in Isaiah 40:22 it says 'circle.' All the formal equivalence versions use the word 'circle.' ESV, NASB, KJV, NKJV; even the Septuagint which was the very first translation of the Old Testament. Which is the translation most NT quotes come from. If you look in the Hebrew, Strong's Concordance says 'circle, circuit or compass,' Not 'globe sphere or ball.' So, don't add to the text. You might not understand it; but don't add your 21st century ideas to the text. Personally, I want to be spiritually & intellectually honest with the text. Also, you could dig deeper & do research on NASA. The astronauts & all of the top leadership are Masons. There is so much very convincing evidence. In the Bible & even outside of the Bible. You don't trust what the secular scientists say about Evolution; do you? Why do you automatically accept what they say about the earth? Proverbs 18:17 says, "The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him." Christians/disciples of Jesus have to be teachable, in order to follow him. Just be humble, be open to new ideas & test them. At least; consider the possibility the Bible means exactly what it says! Like the earth is immovable. It says that over & over. It doesn't say anything about spinning or even that there are planets. I'm telling you, there's vast & very convincing evidence for a flat/plane earth. It gets really deep & exhaustive. I don't agree with everything everyone says on the subject. You certainly have to be discerning & definitely researching. The government, Google, KZread, ect, have put out a lot of junk, so you will automatically dismiss it. But again, dig deeper; there has been some really amazing, outstanding, excellent research out there. Some suggestions: Eric Dubay, Rob Skiba who's a believer & others. When you start learning the truth about it, it becomes a consuming Adventure!

It does not say "it is round not flat" ! It only says "It is he who sits above the circle of the Earth" ISAIAH 40:22 Circles do not imply spheres at all. A dinner plate is a circle, doese that mean it's also a sphere!? No!

To clear up the misunderstanding here about jesaja 40:22 according to the Davidsons Analytical Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon the word chugh what is translated with circle can also mean sphere

A tent is not infinite, and also covers a small area enough for the inhabitants below, not some immeasurable space full of other worlds with potential living beings in them. God is not stupid, He will not make many earths only to have them without anyone caring for them or having dominion over them. Earth is one earth. It did not say, that God made DRY LANDS appear, meaning different worlds. He caused dry land to appear, singular.

Genesis 1:1-2 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was WITHOUT FORM, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” A globe/sphere has a form. The Scriptures says the earth doesn’t. Something flat doesn’t have form. Either you believe the Scriptures or you believe what the rest of the world believes. Revelation 12:9 “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Remember who this earth being a globe nonsense comes from. Okay so how about in a Hebrew cepher genesis 1:6-8 and in the Christian bible even so same thing called firmament and you can look what firmament means online or dictionary. And in job 38:4-6 in the cepher as well as in the bible when it says that he laid the foundations and as far as I know a foundation is stationary non movable. And in Psalms 96:10, Psalms 104:5-6. that is just something to read for everyone that believes in the word. Science has not "proved" the Earth is a spinning ball. On Day 2 of creation God created the firmament (see KJV or the ASV Bibles). On Day 4 He hung the sun, moon and stars within the firmament. Over and over the Bible says that the Earth does not move. 1 Chronicles 16:30, Psalm 33:8-9, Psalm 93:1, Psalm 96:10, Psalm 104:5, Isaiah 14:7, Zechariah 1:12, I Samuel 2:8 (just a small sampling)

Ask yourself this: do we really need one more thing to argue and dispute about? Is the knowledge of the shape of the earth important as it pertains to Salvation and Godliness??? There is no firmament. Genesis 1:8 GOd calls the FIRMAMENT Heaven. Guess what, Bible says the FIRMAMENT fell, it dropped, it came down. Ps. 68: 8 The earth shook, and the HEAVEN DROPPED at the presence of this God: even Sinai was moved at the presence of God, even the God of Israel. (God called the dome/firmament heaven. You just read the HEAVEN DROPPED, it fell. Thus the waters it held up fell also, causing plentiful rain to fall to earth during the flood. 9 Thou, O God, sentest a plentiful rain upon thine inheritance, and thou didst refresh it when it was weary. So it said God "SHOOK " the earth AND HEAVEN. What happened when God "shook" the earth? The land was broken up and water came forth. The same thing happened to the dome, it was broken and it dropped, fell to earth. The DOME is no more.

False. Heaven did not exist in the beginning. God created heaven on the second day. You need to go and read Genesis yourself. The spirit of God, water, and darkness was in the beginning.

In the beginning God created the HEAVENS (of earth) and the earth....!! Genesis 1:26 states " let us make man in our image" these "us" Angel's or host of Heaven were in Heaven in the beginning when the Spirit of God came down and moved across the face of the waters which said waters are below Heaven i.e. Gods realm or Kingdom!!!!
