We Started our journey from MADARIHAT. We stayed at Chalsa (Jaldapara) Youth Hostel. And The MADARIHAT Bus Stand was at walking distance. When We Reached at the Bus Stop No one was there. After waiting there for 5min one Share car, would travel to Jaigaon, came to us . We ride on it.
After enjoying the view, though we had to sit in the middle , we reached at 7.38 at Jaigaon Spending Rs. 40/-. The Driver told us that the Bus would drop us 3k.m. (actually 1.8k.m.) before. And then we have to travel auto to reach near the border (the place where we were dropped by shared car).
After rooming for food we went to a Chole Puri Street Vendor. After completing breakfast we slowly walk to the Border by the help of the GMap.
After finding the Bhutan Immigration Building we asked the officer sitting near the gate how to reach the immigration office (Pedestrian). He told us that opposite the road there was a lane straight. Walking through it and You will reach your destination.
After walking through the lane you will find the queue. This queue starts from near 7.30-8a.m. After waiting for some more minutes we enter the immigration office. As we went for the first time we had to register with my ID card. Then they made a QR code with my details. For my next visit I just have to show the QR Code and Voter ID. Yes, this is as simple. Oh! I also have to spend Rs. 10/- INR for the entry.
After completing all the formalities We entered into THE LAND OF THUNDER DRAGON 🐲🐉🐉🐉🐲.
When we thought about where we spent our 8 hours, one person came and asked if we wanted a Car for a day. We asked him which tourist places we can access as we enter without a passport. He told us if I spend 2k he will show us a Crocodile hatching centre, a View Point and a monastery and 1-2more places. But we already decided to walk through the Phuentsholing.
